Not buying that Gazidis and co. didn't have a replacement lined up months ago and some sort of agreement in place. This whole shit show of an ''interview process'' reeks of leaked club PR guff. Even if it is Arteta, the press saying he was being interviewed today about it is bullshit. At the same time, Sky saying Vieira was asked if he was interested. It's all bollocks. No way they didn't have a contingency plan for Wenger leaving.

New manager was agreed months ago, but just to spare further humiliation to Wenger they pretended to search for a new manager after he left.

Sorry mate but I think you have far too much misplaced confidence in the board. Whatever people think of Dein, Fiszman, Friar & co back in the day they at least knew what they were doing with the club. I'm trying to remain positive as, well, you know, at least it's not wenger next season...but it's turning into a complete shit show.
I think the club thought they were getting Allegri, told him he's get 50m to spend (well, they'll spend ot for him)....and he told us to fuck off (if he made it that far in his "learn english" book).
So they turn to Arteta...until someone finally realised (checked Twitter) what an unpopular choice that would be.
Now they haven't got a clue what to do...errr...the fans love TH14, right? He's got his own statue and everything, right? Anyone got his number?

lol it sounds like a joke you just made up but when you think about it it is probably quite close to the truth, why did we approach Vieira a few days ago?, now Henry?, just after the Arteta 'done' was pretty much out there and the backlash was coming in from the fans, sorry customers who realised Allegri, Ancelloti or anyone half experienced was not happening, what I expect now is Henry as a coach under Arteta, if he will accept it, we know Vieira wouldn't because he is ambitious, I'm hoping Henry tells them where to go as well, they are doing it purely for PR reasons.

The sooner we get relegated and the fans are baying for Kroenke's blood as he shuffles off his investment to someone who actually has ambition the better, I really am past the point of caring about pride now, we sold that off when we sold out to the wigged c*nt.

I like most was delighted to see the back of Wenger's tactics and his total inability to change where neccessary.However what it is doing is bringing the ineptness of the board into focus.
They probably told him that they were not going to take up an extention of his contract and so he jumped the gun and announced his departure before they were ready.
They are now casting around looking for a replacement that will stop them from losing face yet good enough to pacify the fans.
Wenger said the squad just needed a little tweaking but the new high profile names have stated demands that they were not prepared for and so they are talking to Vieira , Arteta and today Henry .We are about to find out that the ( N word ) in the woodpile was the bunch of incompetents in the boardroom and their share of the blame is just as large as was Wenger's.
