Skrtel ?
Rather have him than Ashley Williams
Couldnt agree with you more - skrtel is no maldini but he is a damn sight better than ashley fcuking williamsWilliams is just another in the list of players that embarasses me the fact that we are linked with - years ago, false rumours or not, the papers wouldnt dream of associating us with 2nd rate shite like williams but now, cos of our recent history of cheap purchases, they link us with likes of him

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea are planning to lure Borussia Dortmund right-back Lukasz Piszczek.
Arsenal are ready to replace Bakary Sagna with Piszczek, should the France international leave at the end of the season.
Chelsea nearly won Piszczek after the Euro 2012, in which Premier League scouts were sent to watch the Polish international. Jose Bosingwa was released and they needed replacement at Stamford Bridge.
Piszczek is regarded as Arsenal's first-choice target following another impressive season in Germany, having also helped the Bundesliga giants to this year's Champions League final at Wembley.
He has gone on to establish himself as one of the best full-backs in the Bundesliga, and would be a welcome addition to any Premier League club this summer.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Anybody else seen who Gareth Bale's agent is?

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
You have to feel sorry for dortmund.....bad enough that bayern were able to buy gotze and there was nothing they could do to stop it but now every quality player they have is being linked with moves away. We thought we had it bad when every year one or two of our players were being tapped up via the media but what is happening to dortmund is lifting things to a whole new level
Btw sid, if you have nothing cheerful to post then try to refrain from posting altogether

Fab start! Moyes set to bring back former Arsenal star Cesc as first United signing
David Moyes is pressing ahead with an ambitious bid to make Cesc Fabregas his first Manchester United signing after being alerted to Barcelona’s willingness to sell the former Arsenal midfielder.
Sportsmail understands Moyes has targeted midfield as the area in greatest need of strengthening and that Fabregas is one of his prime targets, following an initial meeting to discuss potential acquisitions for this summer.
In an intriguing sub-plot, however, it has emerged that bitter rivals Manchester City are also on the trail of the Spain midfielder and could compete to bring him back to the Barclays Premier League for the start of next season.

No....probably not

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
We have first refusal on Cesc so if he's made available surely the Turnip would go straight in for him.
Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Mate, Pisczek is not going anywhere because he will have an medical operation (on his hip) and he will be at least out for six month!Top Londoner wrote:Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea are planning to lure Borussia Dortmund right-back Lukasz Piszczek.
Cheers,
Thomas

I think it depends if Moyes goes for Fellaini.
I would take Cesc over Fellaini any day, but Moyes might see it differently?
Wouldn't be happy to see Cesc at Manure but getting used to this cr*p. Don't think it will happen either.
Cesc has waited far too long for the move to Barcawhores to not want to give it at least one more year.
No offence but Barca may have lost heavily to Bayern but they are still streets ahead of Manure. Iy would be a step down especially with no Fergie factor anymore at Old Crappford
