Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread
Next season will be the same as this. Wenger's lack of ambition will hold us back yet again. He's already dismissed any potential bid for Cech on the basis he "has two top keepers". He even mentioned Ospina as the top keeper in the league in the stats table
Yep, I'd def have him over Courtois, De Gea, Cech lol
Similarly, even though it's obvious we should sign Schneiderlin, AW has also turned down this option flat. Even though Schneiderlin is 6 times the DCM Coq is. It's the same old, not wanting to "kill" his previous babies, not wanting competition for places. So forget an upgrade on Giroud, forget that new superior keeper and forget about a DCM. May get another tiny injury-prone attacking mid (Gundogan?) and that'll be your lot.

Why Schneiderlin when we might be able to sign Tiote from Newcastle? An upgrade on Giroud is surely Papiss Cisse, right?

Cech is an upgrade on Ospina.
Schneiderlin is an upgrade on Coquelin.

The one thing that would worry me about Schneiderlin is that he seems to spend a lot of the time injured an Christ knows we've enough of that going on with what we have already.
Re: The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread
Sorry mate, I thought you rated them really highly. During this season I've also kept thinking how great Alan Pardew or Harry Redknapp would have done at Arsenal, too. Fucking stupid, right?Ikechukwu1 wrote:Oh Arsene's mouthpiece is back! Yay! You really are a strange and curious variant of AKB. You can't actually prove any of what you're saying.kiwomya wrote:Sorry mate, I thought you rated them really highly. Say by the by, how's Arsene doing these days? Competing for the league title and CL? Oh yeah he's too hard up, having spent "just" the £100m these 2 windows

Anyway this is a transfer thread so will stick to transfer talk alone. I'm sure there's a thread somewhere for Arsene love-heart donations

True, he would fit right in!rodders999 wrote:The one thing that would worry me about Schneiderlin is that he seems to spend a lot of the time injured an Christ knows we've enough of that going on with what we have already.

On a more serious note he's clearly a major upgrade on Coq (the bloke Wenger was forced into recalling due to injuries) and more to the point, any manager with half a tactical game would realise that if you're away at a place like Stamford Bridge, OT or facing a tough team like Monaco

What a strange little AKB...so you couldn't answer that simple question on how hard-up Arsene performed with £100mil this season then eh? Ah didn't think so...
