Re: Jack Wilshere
I think Jack, Welbeck, Arteta, Rosicky, Coq etc are playing the 'Who can earn the most without kicking a ball' game. With Santi and Alexis that must add up to well over half a million in wages each week.
Re: Jack Wilshere
If the medical team have nothing to do with the continual "setbacks" to our injured players then its down to Wenger and his training and recovery methods. There is absolutely no argument that we have far goo many injuries and injury "setbacks"Robin_L wrote:Our medical team should be put down because Wilshere's ankles can't stand up to the rigours of professional football?
Ok then.
Blame the medical people for repeat muscle injuries (and not even then, if you get LOCO KID Sanchez demanding to play all the time) but not things like this.
As for Sanchez - his injury is 100% down to Wenger. Everyone and his brother (you too Im sure) was calling for him to be rested but Wenger played him 90mins every game fs. Doesnt matter one iota what Sanchez told Wenger, he needed to be rested and Wenger didnt do it.
Re: Jack Wilshere
His legend grows the more he's out injured. He's the white Diaby. Move along, nothing to see here.
We don't even know where he fuck he'd play now - Turning him from an attacking midfielder to a defensive midfielder. He doesn't get in the first 11 either way.
Plus, he can't take a tackle, which makes him useless. Anyway, I don't miss seeing him act the hard man whilst he feigns injury and complains to the referee.
As much as we wanted him to be, you're no Adams/Davis/Rocastle mate.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Wrighty is assuming that everybody is as motivated as him. Now I don't doubt that Wilshere would rather be fit than not but equally I'm not convinced that being able to play football is his entire life like it was with Wrighty.OneBardGooner wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35376976
Worth a read from Ian Wright, Wright, Wright.....
He's played 36% of games in the last 5 seasons. Which is ironic as he has performed at about 36% of his pre-2012 level when he has been fit.
People just chuck around brainless statements like he will be a huge boost for us in the title push without thinking. He's done fuck all for us in the last 5 years even when he's been fit.
Re: Jack Wilshere
I want to see him back in the squad because when he's good he's brilliant. He'll slot in well with Ozil and Sanchez, similar to Carzola. Also, want to see him do well as he's a homegrown talent and that is always a bonus.

When has he been brilliant in the last few years though?Nos89 wrote:I want to see him back in the squad because when he's good he's brilliant. He'll slot in well with Ozil and Sanchez, similar to Carzola. Also, want to see him do well as he's a homegrown talent and that is always a bonus.
Re: Jack Wilshere
Ironically I think his form just prior to getting injured was the best he'd shown since his breakthrough season when shit for brains played him in 49 games and then blamed England for injuring himnorthbank123 wrote:When has he been brilliant in the last few years though?Nos89 wrote:I want to see him back in the squad because when he's good he's brilliant. Whilst Wenger remains in charge we will never see any improvement in his fitness so I'd sell him for as much as we can get. What I don't understand though is how Wenger, or in fact anybody at the club, can look dispassionately at our fitness record and think: "yeah, that all looks fine".
What the fuck are our training pitches made out of, granite?

Re: Jack Wilshere
He's an injury liability who doesn't warrant a place in the team. He has no tactical idea and can't read games well enough to run them. His first and only instinct is to dribble into a crowd of players and is then either injured or ineffective. I don't k ow what type of player he is actually trying to be because he's not a Vieria and anywhere near a Paul Scholes quality of player. He's good enough to knock in six goals a season for West Ham or Crystal Palace where he could be topnorthbank123 wrote:When has he been brilliant in the last few years though?Nos89 wrote:I want to see him back in the squad because when he's good he's brilliant. Dog but not for us. He is physically not able to compete at the top-level in the modern game so let's cash in on him and let West Ham have him for their marquee Signing to open their new ground, £15m and done, thank you.

Re: Jack Wilshere
The 'White Diaby' is supposedly going to get yet another undeserved hike in wages. From £90K per week, to £110K per week. He'll soon be beating Diaby and Rosicky's record for wages received whilst injured at this rate.

Re: Jack Wilshere
Last season before and after his injury. He ran the Man city game, which ended 2-2. He has that quality.northbank123 wrote:When has he been brilliant in the last few years though?Nos89 wrote:I want to see him back in the squad because when he's good he's brilliant. Re: Jack Wilshere
How can that be when he has been injured, therefore has done nothing to warrant it. He won't leave us if his wages aren't matched elsewhere, maybe that's whySean wrote:The 'White Diaby' is supposedly going to get yet another undeserved hike in wages. Is this real? Seriously?Sean wrote:The 'White Diaby' is supposedly going to get yet another undeserved hike in wages. From £90K per week, to £110K per week. He'll soon be beating Diaby and Rosicky's record for wages received whilst injured at this rate.

If so, that's crazy. Christ if I was out sick as often as him I'd be sacked, not given a fucking payrise.
