Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well said Bac !

"To me he is one of the best in the world [when he is fit]. When he's at his best he can play as well as Patrick Vieira did and as good as many players did"

Couldn't have put it better myself

What a crock of shit, you can count the number of good games that this dopey fucker has had on one hand, he's 'played' around 120 games in the 8 seasons since he's been here, which really is a fucking joke in itself, and I still remember the home game where WBA were 3 up at half time when he and Denilson were just going through the motions in the first half, I also think this supposed adulation that you dish out to him is wearing a bit thin now!

120 games and I can count the bad ones on one hand and still have fingers left over

Almunia and our entire defence were tragic in that game you mention, in fact I remember Almunia getting jeered by our own fans in that one. Bit harsh blaming Abou

The guy is a fucking genius. If he was fully fit we would never have needed to spend 42m on the boy wonder Ozil

This occurs roughly every time Halley's Comet passes by and at the start of every other ice age.

You do make me chuckle with your Abou-flamebait, SteveO, keep it up sir.

Put him down already.

Only Arsenal would buy an injury-prone player (yes he was injury-prone at Auxerre too  ), put him on a massive contract, renew that contract with massive wages and keep on pissing away the money for a player who is never going to be fit enough to be worth it.

More financial genius from Le Boss
