Too true mate we didn't really do anything - a few chances - but we didn't turn up in any real sense of the word.... and as hard as some might find this to believe we missed Ramsey.
Wales didn't create anything really but I wouldn't say they didn't turn up - Wales' whole game is predicated on keeping it tight and creating enough on the break to score a goal or two. As soon as they go behind that tends to to be pieces.
I was very happy to be 0-0 at 50 minutes but the luck which Wales have had all tournament (and blinkers off they have had plenty) deserted them.
Disappoint to lose, especially to a fairly average side who didn't exactly play us off the park. But Wales being in a semi-final is so surreal and hasn't even nearly sank in yet.
Still very proud of the boys, tonight an led generally.
Absolutley Still HUGELY Proud....and they will deservedly get a Heroes welcome home! - still gutted though - as you say to lose to an average team - good 1st goal - lucky 2nd - Had we held out for another 10 minutes we might have fared better. Oh! Well....
disappointed Wales didn't go any further although they've had a great tournament up to this point.
they missed Ramsey big time as they don't have the depth in squad to replace him.
well done for getting into the quarter finals anyway.
Wales and Iceland really have proved that putting a plan in place and sticking to it, in international football, really does work.
They've had better players in the past yet not come close. Along with Ramsey and Bale, I thought Joe Allen was outstanding, and he struggles to get into a very average Liverpool team.
Get the feeling this is the beginning of the Welsh journey not the pinnacle.
Have to say that, even though I am not welsh, I am really pissed off with their performance and attitude tonight - right from the get go Williams exuded fear/nerves, and when your captain is like that it sends out a bad vibe to the rest. They played afraid tonight - they didn't want the ball, they had no tempo, and spent most of the first half playing low risk passes between their back 3 Twice they had promising situations outside the portugese area and joe ledley turned and passed a ball back 20 yards - I don't buy into the notion that players are conscious of their passing stats during a game, but sometimes players like ledley think that they are showing what cultured players they are by retaining possession even though they are going back from a promising situation.
It was a bad way from the dream to end imo - tomorrow, in the cold light of the day, they will all look back with justifiable pride at their performances this summer, but it is disappointing that they end up losing to what might be the worst team they have faced in euro 16
Augie it's basically the way they played all qualifiers and tournament - keep it tight at the back and back themselves to get a goal or two on the counter, particularly later in the game.
Wales created only a few half-openings but equally had been comfortable at the back and against a far more talented side. That was basically the game plan.
They just conceded two goals out of nowhere - Wales are never going to have enough to come back from that with Vokes, Church and Jonny Williams off the bench.
People hammered them for a similar perform against England but ultimately there they came within 90 Seconds of a draw against a far far better side.
Disappointing way to go out against an average performance from a decent side but Wales' luck ran out tonight. Achievements still haven't sunk in. The Belgium game will go down in folklore and that Robsob-Kanu goal might be my favourite ever, won't be a forgotten and overriden glory like England dismantling the Dutch in 96.
Tonights game has greatly enhanced Ramsey's reputation.
He has been a stand out player in the tournament, playing in a position he prefers and that suits the team style.
I noticed in the first game and a half he looked the player we know well, playing on the fringe of the game and trying a few fancy flicks.
I can only assume Coleman has had a word or 2 with him, because once he cut out the fancy dan stuff he was in the game much more.
I hope he continues when he returns after his summer break, because there is no evidence Wenger ever gave him a similar piece of advice.
He was constantly trying blind back heels and giving the ball away all of last season.

Ozil plays the free roaming playmaker role and he is a hundred times better than ramsey - that's no offence to ramsey cos ozil is 100 times better than most players in that position
I take issues with the contention that Portugal are one the worst sides in the tournament. They are one of the best organised sides. In Pepe, they have a right but also along with the Italians, the best defender at the tournament. More apt to say that Portugal are one of the most boring and/or cynical teams.
Disappointed for Wales, Ramsey was a massive loss..Not too bothered who wins tonight but I want tonight's winner to win the final..Ronaldo great player but I cannot stand looking at him...His private celebration after his goal (when all the team mates had left him) sums up to me what an egotistical he is..
