ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As a matter of interest who the fuck is Fabrizio Romano? I keep seeing him quoted as someone 'in the know' for transfers but I was wondering where he came from or what he had to do with anything.

yes, it's a quiet day :D
Think "Ornstein" but with a sharper dress sense and a love of pasta.

Lewndowski is looking to leave Bayern. 33 but still brilliant. Couldn’t imagine a transfer fee to be anything ridiculous for a man of his age. A gamble I’d take, particularly if we can bring in another too.

Surely the temptation to play for a guy that was excellent at putting out the cones in straight lines for pep for a few seasons, would prove to be too much to turn down for one of the top strikers in the world ? :rubchin:

I wish we had sold him as he's a fucking useless piece of shit and always will be. Now he's just gonna be a drain on resources for however long until they can get rid. What a waste (there's a song in there) of time and money.

Still, with the 542 (and growing daily) players we're linked with we should have a super squad next season.

Well, there's always that other critical element of the scouting job....ability!
