Tell me, how long do you want in order to be proved right, admit your vote was wrong based on the above lies spouted out by rich toff David Cameron, why do you think he packed his bags so quickly, he got out quick because he was wrong, and that for a leader of this country is unforgivable....
Fixed that for you to be more accurate as we've not left the EU yet!
No the vote wasn't wrong. Any educated person knows that in politics there is no right or wrong, there is only opinion.
As with everything, opinions keep us going, even opinions on Spurs....
We have not left the EU yet, start gloating in a few years time when article 50 has been executed and you haven't lost your job.
As for DC, I would rather he ran the country than an ignoramus like you. We would really be screwed then!
FInally, Nigel Farage is a rich toff too. Working in the square mile trading in commodities does not make you working class!

Can anyone explain to me why Switzerland, a country used to financial dealing, keeping out of other country's disagreements while dealing with dubious characters, has withdrawn it's application to join the EU? The fact that they did this during all the Brexit fuss means it went largely unnoticed.

Because historically Switzerland is a parasite feeding off third world poverty, Nazi war crimes and the illegal earnings of gun runners and drug dealers. They are afraid that an in-depth look at their books, so to speak, would shine a not very complimentary light on them.Red Snapper wrote:Can anyone explain to me why Switzerland, a country used to financial dealing, keeping out of other country's disagreements while dealing with dubious characters, has withdrawn it's application to join the EU? Tbh that is a very arrogant position you take. Do you think everything you've posted on here is "balanced" and "informed"?nut flush gooner wrote:When someone says things that are factually incorrect, and as a result do not offer balanced opinions on here as a result of being uninformed or making the effort to read up on a particular topic. Also if you call someone an "ignoramus" then you are name-calling. You have this habit of reducing the argument. All I'm asking is that you don't resort to insults and name calling.

When you made the comments about Ireland's recession and Fiscal budget, I went off and checked because my understanding was different to yours. And yes I concede you did have a point, but at the same time as a result of reading up I was also able to present a different side of the debate. That's what having an informed discussion is about.DB10GOONER wrote:Tbh that is a very arrogant position you take. So when someone suggests 2/3 months of data that has been issued since the referendum is relevant to how things will be when we finally leave the EU then that is completely and utterly ignorant, especially if no comparison was made to data issued before the vote. I call it confirmation bias and that is a sign of arrogance my friend.

Re: EU referendum - What will you vote?
Slightly off topic but does anyone know how the problems at Deutsche bank are going to effect things?
Merkel's announcement that she would not use German federal money to resolve the banks issues must sting a bit seeing as Germany's and others money was used to help prop up other failing banks in other countries
Merkel has serious problems already with the German elections next year and AfD along with others gaining seats in local elections, not sure she wants to upset the Establishment making announcements like she wont help out Germany's biggest bank

Forgetting Brexit for a minute the EU ideal is looking shakier and shakier, it seems the Visegrad group aren't too pleased with being told what to do either at the moment especially as far as immigration is concerned.
CETA and TTIP aren't as popular as once thought with some groups either, i know this is only one side of the argument but it gives food for thought beyond what we are drip fed at the moment, if even only some of the second article is true it is quite worrying:
http://arstechnica.co.uk/tech-policy/20 ... -analysis/
http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/com ... 79688.html
Very worrying times for Europe as a whole and from a personal stand point i'm feeling more and more like i made the right decision in the way i voted

As for you I did not goad, and I did not call names or be abusive towards the poster who obviously has anger management issues when a plausible honest opinion is aired..Chippy wrote:As for you, I think there is a bit of wumming going on here.
