When someone says things that are factually incorrect, and as a result do not offer balanced opinions on here as a result of being uninformed or making the effort to read up on a particular topic. The word I have used is not name calling, it is accurate.

Can anyone explain to me why Switzerland, a country used to financial dealing, keeping out of other country's disagreements while dealing with dubious characters, has withdrawn it's application to join the EU? The fact that they did this during all the Brexit fuss means it went largely unnoticed.

When you made the comments about Ireland's recession and Fiscal budget, I went off and checked because my understanding was different to yours. And yes I concede you did have a point, but at the same time as a result of reading up I was also able to present a different side of the debate. That's what having an informed discussion is about.

So when someone suggests 2/3 months of data that has been issued since the referendum is relevant to how things will be when we finally leave the EU then that is completely and utterly ignorant, especially if no comparison was made to data issued before the vote. I call it confirmation bias and that is a sign of arrogance my friend.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know how the problems at Deutsche bank are going to effect things?

Merkel's announcement that she would not use German federal money to resolve the banks issues must sting a bit seeing as Germany's and others money was used to help prop up other failing banks in other countries

Merkel has serious problems already with the German elections next year and AfD along with others gaining seats in local elections, not sure she wants to upset the Establishment making announcements like she wont help out Germany's biggest bank

Forgetting Brexit for a minute the EU ideal is looking shakier and shakier, it seems the Visegrad group aren't too pleased with being told what to do either at the moment especially as far as immigration is concerned.

CETA and TTIP aren't as popular as once thought with some groups either, i know this is only one side of the argument but it gives food for thought beyond what we are drip fed at the moment, if even only some of the second article is true it is quite worrying:
