Elena Baltacha has passed away from liver cancer.
A career completely wrecked by illness and injury and then passes away at 30.
Life can deal you such a sh*t hand sometimes. Makes you want to be happy with you lot however little it is.

Dear me. Aged 30 - very very sad.
Had to endure many a snide remark about British women's tennis by those who have never picked up a racket in their lives or had to go through what she did.

Yes, her dad was Sergei Baltacha and was well thought of at Ipswich.
