Yeah, something along the lines of: "It's great over there. You don't have to win anything to get pay rises and there's no pressure to win the big games. Go for it, mate. You'll love it!"

I'm not having a go at Villa because I think he is a very good player but as Mark says, it's only a start that is years overdue. If he does sign, he might score a few goals but unless Wenger manages to magically find that missing tactics book, fuck all is going to happen. Villa will be a signing to try and get 4th spot this year, nothing more ambitious- in the same way that Arshavin was in 2009.

There always is- if we dont buy anyone we can always rely on our internal options
