As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Also like Milner , puts a lot into games and when City's superstars are in a sulky mood his attitude makes him invaluable. A bit like Ray Parlour as said above. However I do not see a role for Milner at Arsenal. Where would he play?. If we need a defensive midfielder, and we do, I cannot see him being that.
Hope we do not touch Sterling , glory boy for the media last season now whipping boy for them. We have had enough prima donnas at our club in the past.
i used to think milner was a useless krunt but the last couple of years ive changed my mind,he puts in a shift, knows where the net is and if you think about it its credit to him to pretty much hold down a team place in amongst all that talent, fair play to the lad,id take him In a heart beat
lots of talk from cech's agent again today about him welcoming a move to us, the cynic's amongest us will say its chelsea having his agent drive up his price, but i would pay what they want. Fantastic keeper and someone that could be the diffrence between us winning the league next year. Complete no brainer for me and if we aint in for him it will be a complete and utter disgrace
Calm down lads!
Its official, "We are not in transfer mode" in the mantra for May.
For June, it will be "no deals can be done, everyone is on holiday"
For July, "There are no players available that are better than what we have"
For August "Its difficult to find players now the season has started"

Alas it's tragic as well as funny because, if previous experience is anything to go by, it will prove so true!!

its as if the great man himself wrote this, sad but true
Charlie Austin. Scored more than giroud in a team that has been relegated. He's not quite world class but gets stuck in and knows where the goal is. Shearer didn't start scoring regularly to his mid twenties. Austin might turn out to be the answer.

I remember shearer's debut as a young lad was against us and he scored a fcuking hat-trick and that was when we had a good defence too

17 goals 8 assists similar to Sanchez. Can't underestimate those stats for a player playing in team that finished bottom. Followed same path as Ian Wright who no doubt would not be good enough either.
