KROENKE OUT / The Board / Staff etc (merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal posted a big pre-tax loss of £52.1m as they finished 2nd in the EPL in 2022/23

@Arsenal figs:

🔴Revenue £467m (⬆️25%)
⚪️Wages £235m (⬆️11%)
🔴Wages to rev 50% (⬇️7%)
⚪️Operating loss £57m (⬇️3%)
🔴Player additions £251m

Gross transfer spend over last five years: £835m
Revenue up 25% and that is last years figures, without Champions League and the new sponsorship deals

Should be good for a couple of super, super, quality players in the summer :barscarf: :barscarf:
But what about the super, super, top, top Qualiteee players Errrr. :D :wink:

I’m sure there always “internal solutions”.

Anyway, Jesus, Vieira and Tierney will be like new signings.

🚨 Manchester City’s elite development squad analyst Darren Rogerson is leaving the club to join Arsenal’s first team. Rogerson, who is highly thought of inside City, is due to start work in the first few months of the upcoming season. [@JordanC1107] #afc

I have been critical of our transfer turnover for a long time, but it wasnt edu that brought in sterling, jesus and zinchenko, and it wasnt edu that squeezed smith-rowe out thats for sure
