I would rather sign mertesacker than hangeland tbh although that doesnt mean much I know. Right now I am so very afraid that we are not going to buy a ready made partner (as opposed to potential) for vermaelen that I really hope we do sign this guy but isnt necessarily an endorsement of mertesacker's ability It really has come down to this
