Story's of Bergkamp supporting the scum and Petit & his taxi ride spring to mind. Difference is his public courting over Spurs.

Thought he said he wasn't a fan of them, he just liked the way Hoddle played?

And there are people on this board that want the largest playing contract ever handed out to an Arsenal player to be given to an (alleged) rapist  I'm not disagreeing with the suggestion that rvp gets that bumper contract mate but if you want to go down the "alleged" route then look at the whole picture

Anyway has the 13 year old finished his paper round and signed for us yet. We need to move quickly before the next version of Call of Duty comes out

David Ornstein ‏@bbcsport_david
M'Vila camp tell me he will not be joining Arsenal or any other PL club as things stand. Only serious interest from elsewhere in Europe

 :( :rubchin:

With M'Villa, it strikes me that Wenger sees Coquellin as the long term option in that role. I'm a big fan of the lad, but would have liked M'Villa as well. Be interesting to see who he goes to though. Probably Spurs, that's usually how they operate.

Looks like he's off to the Scum then.

Vertonghen and m'Vila - dream on as predicted

Hazard - more chance of signing the Dukes of Hazard

I'm so glad that we secured 3rd place to help to retain and attract the best players - a quote attributable to Lord Wenger and which I will be requoting in super quality proportions when RvP fucks off and Europa League Tottingham sign better players than us in the window........BUT

A big warm Emirates welcome to 80k per week Kalou, Nick Powell and the lad yet to grow hair in funny places from Birmingham.

Glad we secured 3rd otherwise how we could we retain and gain such 'super quality'

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Maybe we'll sign the lad from Saint Etienne though - lets all get orgasmic :barscarf:

why would we want him ?, he's never played in a top league and only has 9 international appearances - so he's unproven according to some on here

Clint Dempsey wants a move to us according to SI . That wouldn't be a bad squad addition - 20 goals in all competitions last year - 16 in the prem, even though Fulham were pants. We could rotate him with Pod until Pod settles in.

One of the better players in the league. Genuinely interested in playing for CL unlike those money grabbers. At the end of the day we are not going to get some one like Hazard without throwing our precious money. We could do much worst than Dempsey. It can turn out like Arteta signing. There was no reason to wait until last hour to sign some one like Arteta.

Agree with this - get him in. Decent striker, whole hearted, good scoring record and far superior to any of the tossers we've got bar RvP
