Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm starting to get a bit nervous about those fuckers  They've got a definite look of us from last season about them..Confidence and momentum are massive in football and they have both of those traits in abundance  With no Europe they can go all out for it and with Cheaty doing at bit of globetrotting when the world club thingy is on you just never know  I hope they implode but that manager has them running through brick walls for him.

They are a two man team, as soon as Maddison and Son are injured or whatever, they are a top 6/7 side at best and it all goes Spursy!!

True.... and they've definitely got the 'Rub of the Green / bounce of the ball' going in their favour in every game so far.... which will eventually evaporate then they'll quickly slip down to 7th or 9th...

The amount of bedwetting that goes on here everytime the scum go on some kind of winning streak is unreal, they're a 2 man team as someone said earlier, officials helped them beat Liverpool, they got a draw against us because we couldn't hold on to a lead after going 2-1 up,their equaliser was a gift by Jorginho, their other games where against promoted teams,if Palace were any good last night they would have been 2 up before spurs scored .

People need to chill out 8)

I agree with some of that (officials def won victims game for them), but if they are a two man team then what are we ? We are led by a captain who goes missing in big games, we dont have a quality number 9 in the squad, our best winger has been dogshite for over 6 months now, and I could go on but what would be the point ? We had momentum last season and we got a LOT of late goals as a result of that belief/momentum, and this season it seems that they are the one's with that luck - most level headed Gooners knew last season that we werent as good as we were made out to be, but the scum are in the same boat this season and it clearly bothers some of us and I dont know why ? The fact that they are where they are is a reflection of the lack of quality in the league more than an indicator that they are a great team or anything like it - their collapse will come as sure as night follows day (same as us last season), but by same token it should be recognised that they have some good players and (despite comments to the contrary in pre season) they do have a good manager that will get the fans behind them cos he plays their style of football. That isnt bedwetting but is a willingness to step back and look at things clearly and impartially and acknowledge where they are good and where they are not

Chavs losing 2-0 at home to Brentford. How many billions is it that they've spent to be in a relegation fight?

See Arab Oil money is ensuring that Anthony Taylor, Michael Oliver and Paul Tierney make decisions that go against the Fat Bellied Opponents... Not surprising really after those 3 all got Top of The Range Rolex watches and Bonuses for the little "educational Jaunt" they did 4 weeks ago in Arab Land!

It Stinks To High Heaven When Oh!When are they going to be investigated along with Webb the smug CorruptCUNT!?
