THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

5 competitive games and an unbeaten start.

The man's a genius and we have the pleasure of a minimum of 3 more years

Can't watch any footage of those wonderful teams as it only shines the spotlight brighter on the current shit fest.
I watched that SlySports thing a couple weeks ago with my 9 year old son and I just felt so empty and depressed after watching it and realising how far we have fallen. My boy sat there for a minute and then said, "Wow Dad, we used to be brilliant". And all I could say was "Yeah, we used to be...".

To quote Spinal Tap;
"It really puts perspective on things, though, doesn't it?"
"Too much. There's too much fucking perspective..."

Apparently we're back in touch about trying to sign TH14 one more time, so at this point I can only say:

ONE ARSENE WENGER......THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

In all seriousness, this is actually hilarious. We're a complete parody of a football club, you couldn't invent such scenarios.

Looks like this will be the year the prick misses out on his beloved top 4.

With the quality in Man Us team (offensively) it's inevitable they will start to click whilst we look like we are getting worse every game we play. :banghead:

They had quality last year but didn't click so it is not a given that they will this year either. There is nothing to say we can't click is there. Look back to the Community Shield game. That wasn't very long ago and we looked good in there.

If this team clicks we should get our customary top four spot again. I do think we need to sign a couple more decent proven players to ensure it though. 1st and 2nd are tough to get now with Chelsea and Man City tipping the scales in the way that they are but there is no reason we cannot get 3rd. We'll definitely have to improve on the shit we are playing at the moment though.

I was disappointed to read this morning that another target and top player falcao has agreed a deal elsewhere (allegedly).

Apparently RVP could miss 3-4 months through knee surgery, Falcao or not, that's a big loss.

Yet only last week people were saying that they wanted him out of the way as we seem to complete deals quicker when he isn't around! I recall something about Brazilian beaches and ladyboys.

There's no pleasing some people, you don't want him around and then complain when he isn't!

Hiding to nothing is an expression that comes to mind.

Wenger needs to go. Whilst you've got him, you'll be in this position year in, year out.

I feel for you Gooners - we are rivals but I've got huge respect for the Arsenal.

You've got a clown in charge though. He's stubborn and will never change.

I remember a mate (not a Gooner) saying to me - when Wenger sold JVP to manure - Wenger has just handed them the title....

He is an arrogant, out-moded, ill-informed dinosaur - I will celebrate like crazy when he (eventually) leaves.....How he can even begin to conceive or imagine that we (in our presnt state AND with himself as manager) even stand a chance of winning the prem or Cl is Beyond Belief.

Under his mis-management these past 7 seasons we are now FUBB'ED.

F*cked Up Beyond Belief.  :banghead: :cussing:

To try and put a positive twist on this debacle, there is no way he will see out the 3 years after this sh1t fest.
