As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
He doesn't deserve the amount of shite that he gets.
I'd argue that he doesnt get enough shite, i think he's extremly well protected from 99% of the shite he should be getting, perhaps some exposure to some shite rather than a washing of his balls from 60000 chanting his name every two weeks would make him a better manager rather than the arrogant man he is today!

I'd argue that you are wrong....but that's just an opinion!
He's always been an arrogant man. It's just when we were winning, you didn't mind.
But arrogant when your winning is justified..talking the talk and then your walking the walk to match it
Arrogant at this stage just seems stupid...and when your being outclassed by your peers as often as wenger is...arrogant is the last thing you should be ...determined yes..arrogant no, sadly a lesson wenger doesnt care to learn!

That's a very good point.
Also, it is a subjective thing. Think back to Henry, if he'd played for another club we'd all have hated him for being an arrogant cúnt but we'd have held our hands up and said "well, he is THAT good in fairness".
Arsene's arrogance comes across as empty and stupid because he can no longer back it with results and trophies. It's sad tbh, because I still love the man and unfortunately he is going to be remembered as much for the stupid comments, the empty arrogance, the trophy droubt, and the fucking zipper on his coat, just as much as he will be remembered for the success of those amazing first 8 or so years and the inovations he brought to the English game. A real shame.
I agree, but I wonder how much of it today is his natural arrogance and how much is that he doesn't feel he needs to justify himself to every Tom, Dick or Harry that questions everything hoping to get an "Arsenal in Crisis" exclusive.
I can relate to that in some way because I have been doing my job for many years and cannot be arsed to answer loaded questions that I know are just for people to try and score cheap points off me. Especially when the question comes from a numpty that couldn't do my job properly if they had another four lifetimes to learn it!

Don't make assumptions about what I think or you'll probably get it wrong and look like a cock. I would like to see a change if he doesn't get it right this season but I don't want to see a change for the sake of change.
I don't think there are managers out there that could have maintained the stability of our position during recent times with the financial restrictions he has allegedly had to operate under. I do think there are managers out there that could replace him if they had money to spend.
If last years FA Cup was a fluke and we do nothing this year how many AKB's would stand up and say they got it wrong?
If he wins the double this year how many WOB's would stand up and say they got it wrong?
If we begin a new period of success how many WOB's would stand up and say they got it wrong?
My overall feeling is this:-
AKB's are blind. They cannot see anything except the positives.
WOB's are equally as blind as they cannot see anything except the negatives.
I'm in the middle of the two.
I think he is far from perfect and he makes mistakes but he isn't the personification of evil that some would have you believe.
Spuddy I understand your wanting a more reasonable debate but that statement is just wrong on so many levels - how can you claim that we want a change for change sake ? That suggests that we are getting bored with him and want a fresh face because he is doing a good job The man has to go for soooo many reasons (and I really cant be arsed to list them all out today) and I think that you know that too, so why would you suggest that it is change for change sake ? Am absolutely stunned that you would think that tbh

Okay, maybe I should have put that better. What I mean is that I don't want a change for an unproven alternative that is not an obvious improvement. There are few I would put into the category of obvious improvement (I could count them on one hand) and none of them are available or would come to us.
I don't want us to change to give a chancer the opportunity to fuck up our club anymore than some already believe it to be. I.E. Moyes and like
