Don't make assumptions about what I think or you'll probably get it wrong and look like a cock. I would like to see a change if he doesn't get it right this season but I don't want to see a change for the sake of change.

I don't think there are managers out there that could have maintained the stability of our position during recent times with the financial restrictions he has allegedly had to operate under. I do think there are managers out there that could replace him if they had money to spend.
If last years FA Cup was a fluke and we do nothing this year how many AKB's would stand up and say they got it wrong?
If he wins the double this year how many WOB's would stand up and say they got it wrong?
If we begin a new period of success how many WOB's would stand up and say they got it wrong?

My overall feeling is this:-

AKB's are blind. They cannot see anything except the positives.
WOB's are equally as blind as they cannot see anything except the negatives.

I'm in the middle of the two.
I think he is far from perfect and he makes mistakes but he isn't the personification of evil that some would have you believe.

Transfer deadline day is always a WOB's wet dream unless an Ozil turns up, I wouldn't frustrate yourself with these people too much.

Like DB10 I've tried hard not to hate AW. Having seen my first match in the 60s, I've endured many crap years and I feel privileged to have seen TH14, DB10, TA6 et al, and the success we had, but AW is making it easy to hate him.

His '30 years in football' riposte was an insult. How dare people question him-

Well, last year EVERYBODY said we needed a striker and DM to sustain a title challenge. Fans, pundits, ex-players etc. (Does anybody know anybody who agreed with AW?) AW disagreed, He was proved wrong.

Now AW still thinks he's right and the rest of the world is wrong, and to to truly dismiss us out of hand he'd previously planned to fuck off on deadline day for a jolly in Rome. After all, it's not like a club needs its manager at this time of year is it?

I can't see us get the magical 4th spot with this squad and we might even struggle for top 6.

Just like quite a few Gooners on here I also really do not want to slag Wenger off from his hole to his pole - But, he seems to not give a f*ck what any of the fans say - he is supposed to be an intelligent man - with excellent communications skills - But to say 'We are Actively looking" on the week-end after what was a shambles - and then sneak off - like some toady *word censored* - I really am beginning to not only feel frustrated - But betrayed....

Wenger as manager of Arsenal has given me some of the most memorable and happiest Gooner Moments & Days in my life - But I cannot take any more - I just want him gone before my frustration and anger turn to Hate....It shouldn't be like this - Fans are meant to support and defend their manager/team/Club - But What he appears to be doing is Unforgivable...and I really do not like myself feeling like this.

But what are we supposed to do?

TBH none of us really know anything for sure regarding transfer dealings at Arsenal. Do we rally have a massive amount of money to spend? It's only the media that keeps banging that drum. Is it really Arsene or is it actually the board that won't spend the dough? Who knows. Should really be innocent until proven guilty, no?

However the facts we do know are that regardless of who he buys he won't know what to do with them, will probably play them out of position and even if by some miracle we did sign a world class player he would do his best to turn them into an average player.

The man has become far too arrogant, too stubourn and far too dismissive of others opinions. He has no idea on tactics, no idea how to change a game, I swear he just sits there with his fingers crossed hoping something will happen. He goes into games set up exactly the same way year on year, now teams have sussed us out and all the big boys probably earmark our fixture as a nail on 3 points at the beginning of the season.

He sits there and watches us get spanked and then comes out with the same shit in the post match interview. The only thing more predictable than his interviews are his tactics.

He persaveares with shite that every man and his dog knows will never make it, senderos/djourou /bendtner/sanogo whilst we continue to get no closer to a title all the while the other big teams are strengthening year on year.

I'm sick to death of seeing players whom I feel would be great at Arsenal being courted only for us to fuck around and then see them join a rival. When he finally buys us a world class player he spunks big money on players we don't desperately need. Even ozil and Sanchez leave me disappointed. I love them as players but always deflated when we don't sign the players in the positions were desperate.

Had wenger bought us a quality DM and world class striker last season we would have had a great shout at the title last year or this but because of the mans failings were lucky to grab fourth again. It really does seem to be the ceiling of his ambition these days and that depresses me. I want to go into the season with a modicum of excitement, I just want to start a season with the thought that we have a chance of winning it.

Anyway when I'm this fucking wound up it makes it slightly more bearable to have someone to focus my anger at and he's done more than most to earn that so fuck him.
