Now that has made me smile Lethal ! Perhaps its just that the "new kitchen is not available at the right price" and is "no better than what we already have" !
By the way Quartz - in what year was your sense of humour bypass operation ?
Funny stuff guys.

"I do not think the spending of the woman across the road on her kitchen appliances can continue in the future. We are certainly more secure in the long term."
"And I am sure that when this horrible English weather subsides then my method of cooking eggs on the footpath will be a viable solution. When this happens, the footpath will surely be like a new signing."[/quote]
Yes, and the footpath is only one of our "internal options". It is also "technically" a very good solution and "overall" I am very pleased with its "development"

Zenit St Petersburg appear confident that a deal will still be struck to sell Andrei Arshavin to Arsenal on transfer deadline day, despite suggestions that the Russia international is leaving London.
Arshavin flew into the English capital on Sunday night to be greeted by heavy snowfall more fitting of his home country and reports have claimed that his tortuous transfer is now on ice with the player heading back to the airport to return to Russia.
The Gunners have been locked in talks with Zenit for much of the January transfer window though and it appears that discussions are still ongoing as the 5pm deadline, which may yet be extended, looms.
Zenit general director Maxim Mitrofanov expects the two clubs to come to an agreement – despite reports that talks had collapsed - but was less certain about whether Arshavin would accept the wages on offer and move to Emirates Stadium.
“Negotiations are still ongoing, to a greater extent on the level of the board of directors of Arsenal,â€

OK...just got back from the training ground...and surprise, surprise, there's no news...got chatting to one of the security guards on the gates and he said he didnt have a clue what was going on...as if he was going to tell me even if he did know
but I did see some of the players leaving for the day...including Adebayor...80K a week and he's finished for the day at 13:00 in the afternoon...and he still cant be arsed to run around on match day...he cant even pretend to look interested...
security guard did say that they trained OUTSIDE today...they cleared one of the pitches...we've got 8 inches of snow down here...nice to know that Adebayor would have had to run around just to keep warm this morning...
I know times running short but I think Arshavin will sign...I still find it hard to believe that negotiations could have dragged on for SOOO long and must have come SOOO far for it to fail at the final hurdle...I think all sides will make concessions to make the deal go thru...all 3 parties have too much to lose at this late stage if it doesnt go thru...

14.22 The Premier League has announced it will grant applications from clubs to complete transactions after the 5pm deadline today if there is email confirmation from the two clubs involved that a deal has been agreed in principle. The club signing the player must also satisfy the board that the prevailing weather conditions have prevented the signing from being completed by the deadline. That will keep us busy well into the evening then!
