That yellow card suggestion doesnt wash with me cos he could just as easily got injured tonight ruling him out of some important league games  Daft fcuking decision in my book anyway :x I would also take issue with wenger taking off vela - here is a young player who appears to have tons of potential but isnt get anywhere near enough game time :( Why not take off the dude, put vela up front and bring in wilshire ? Makes more bloody sense to me anyway.
I have to agree with pretty much everything augie said though I hope the Eduardo thing was just a check up, Arsenal being extra cautious. One possibility that floated through my mind was Vela was tired, having not yet having fully adapted to England and wasn't quite the same in second half.

Cardiff were shocking. Heaton defied my prediction and while nutmegged for the 4th, needs to work on that, performed heroics today. Only other Cardiff player of note that Brunt on their right, give Gibbs a difficult time but for that linesman to hate him so much

Positive:
-Yet another clean sheet
- Toure dealt with what little danger he had to face and drove forward well
- Thought Denilson had a decent game
- Bischoff looked good as a sub
- Nasri and Sagna didn't see much of the ball at times but they were awesome when we did go down their flank
- We scored 4 times.
- Eduardo did well but so did Vela, in first half, and Bentender, the three of them tore Cardiff apart. Carling Cup next season lineup, wouldn't be a bad three to have in reserve once Vela bulks up as well

Negative:
-Gallas was reckless, rightly booked, loose in possesion
- Gibbs put in a good cross for one chance but struggled against his winger, disappointing
- Song had decent first half then got careless in second
- Nic's finishing

Just home from the game.

As many have said, Heaton the Cardiff keeper was superb.

Thought Sagna struggled a bit tonight, seemed to get caught out and miss tackles.

Vela and Eduardo gave us movement , so refreshing a change from the lummox like behaviour of Ade and Bendtner.

With the amount of attacking midfielders we have, such as Arshavin, Bischoff, Ramsey, Nasri etc who can all play as a second a striker, I really think that Ade and/or Bendtner will be on his/their way in the summer.

Definately!

Eduardo was a joy to watch tonight... good movement, and such a quick, clever brain; delighted he's back!

Oh, and hopefully Adebayor was watching closely tonight... the shock of seeing a real striker at work - with the total support of the crowd - might just re-focus his mind!

Always said he was good at shooting, and can score when there is little of an obvious chance on.

But I still do not like him, little anyone here can say can make me change my mind, it would take a significant change of attitude from him to alter my opinion.

I have seen too much selfishness, individualistic play to the detriment of the team and egotistical behaviour from him to make me want him around the club.

That was the massive change last night, Eduardo and Vela constantly overlapping and providing movement. Plus the quick ball that we used to use so effectively when we had the Invincibles, allowing us to break out of defence and have a shot on goal in 14 seconds made a welcome return last night too, rather than slow buildups allowing them to get back. About bloody time!

Was not on for long, came on on left. Looked ok, had a decent shot that went close.
