I'll tell you what, if you call progress being embarassed by ManUre at our own ground, I hope we get knocked out of CL in august. I don't want semis like the one we just had.Swale_Gooner1985 wrote:well the progress is reaching two semi finals isnt it?! come on use your brain!
shall we just forget playing anymore and just live on the fact that we went a season unbeaten?
things change, this is a different squad, players dont stay good forever, trust me, things at Arsenal have been a lot worse than this!
you have to let things go mate, Pele was a superb footballer but i doubt he would be much cop now!
Just go Arsene
progress aint getting to 1 of these semi finals and NOT playing your current 2 best players...SONG AND ARSHAVIN?Swale_Gooner1985 wrote:well the progress is reaching two semi finals isnt it?! come on use your brain!

We are only just top 4 within the country how does this make us top 4 in Europe, cup competitions are all about the draw and we got an easy one till the semis. We are not top 4 in Europe and you really are deluded if you think that SwaleSwale_Gooner1985 wrote:oooooh percy has got slightly too annoyed! why would you let yourself become so wound up sitting at a computer?
the champions league involves teams in europe yes? we were involved in this....yes? we were in the last four in the competition....yes? then we were in the top four teams in the competition this year! as much as it clearly pains you!

I am not anoyed with you with regards to your opinions. You are of course allowed them in the same way as others are. What I do object to is the fashion you choose to talk to others in.
You clearly do not know what condescending means as after pointing out to you that is what you were being you go and do it again by spelling out to me how the Champions League works.
Carry on though Swale! It seems I am not the only one here looking at your posts with a touch of bemusement!

Lilke many others i've stood at the Gorve week in week out since the FC Twente game and have shouted and cheered my throat horse every time and last night gave it that bit more and when the final whistle went it makes me think what was the fcuking point.
All that effort when i could have easily watched half those games from the comfort of my sofa.
I really don't give a fcuk if Wenger stays or weather him going is the right thing for the club but what i care about is intent. If over the summer Arsenal do not show any intent that they actually want to win something. If they don't address the issues that have been apparent all fcuking season. then why should i? I believe we can do something but when faced with the performances that have seen from both individual players and the team as a whole why the fcuk should i put in as much effort as i do.
I can feel my sofa calling.
