prob more bull shit =UDINESE defender Cristian Zapata claims Arsenal are looking to sign him.
The 22-year-old Colombian was on Arsene Wenger's radar last summer, and admits he is eyeing a move away from the Serie A club.

He said: "Juventus, Fiorentina, Milan, Arsenal and Villarreal have requested information about me.

"There are many teams that are keen to sign me but an official offer has not been made so far.

"I think if a good offer arrives then Udinese will have to consider it.

"But the club don't need to sell me immediately."

Zapata is under contract until June 2013.

Dzeko is a player I have wacthed a fair bit and back in the previous transfer gossip thread I mentioned we should go for him.

He really is a fantastic finisher and with the chances we create he would bag many a goal

Dzeko is an excellent player, but I'm more excited about the link with Zapata to be honest.

If we sign two centre halves Vermaelen and him would be excellent choices.

Arshavin rubbishes Arsenal exit talk

[quote]Andrei Arshavin has given short shrift to reports that he could be seeking a shock return to Zenit St Petersburg just four short months since his highly-productive move to Arsenal.

Arshavin joined The Gunners from Zenit on February 2 in a club record £15 million move and immediately made a significant impact in North London, scoring six times in 12 league games and contributing seven assists.

The Russian international has quickly become a firm fans’ favourite at Emirates Stadium thanks to his beguiling style of play and expectation is high ahead of next season when the club will seek to end their four-year wait for a trophy.

But Arshavin’s public reservations about the 50p tax rate in England had led to suggestions that the forward could seek refuge with his former club where he could earn considerably more than he does so at present.

Arshavin has been training with Zenit in recent days but is adamant he is not even considering leaving Arsenal, telling Sport Express: “I do not consider it necessary to comment on [the rumours].

“It is just not a topic for conversation.â€

M'Bia edges closer to Everton switch
Rennes midfielder Stephane M’Bia has agreed to join Everton, according to reports.

The 23-year-old Cameroon international, who is valued at around £4 million, has been linked with a move to England for some time, with Arsenal also said to have shown an interest.

His chances of a move took a step closer last month when Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi admitted M’Bia would be allowed to leave at the right price.

"Mbia is the only player we are willing to let leave, but that is only if we get a suitable offer, which has not been the case so far," he told France Football.

And Le Parisien now understands that, while the clubs are yet to agree a fee, a deal with the player is now in place.

That bosnian guy (dzeko) looks well handy but to be fair we all know that an accumulation of clips on youtube isnt a fair or accurate assessment of any player. It has to be said also that his strike partner (grafite) looked none too shabby either 8) Would like to know if dzeko has much in the line of pace cos that is or should be a vital factor if we buy a striker
