How tall are you?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm 5"3...tiniest gooner

So you are a lady, i was beginning to think from reading your stuff that you must be a guy.
Why do I write/sound like a man? Or is it just the unnatural obsession for Arsenal... :?:
I don't know how to put this without sounding like an absolute chauvinist.... which i'm not...you just come across as very insightful regarding football, more so than most of the guys on here who have lived and breathed it all their lives.. and far more so than any woman i've ever met....maybe i've just led a sheltered life..

Can someone tell me why some men feel the need to question a bird on the offside rule once she says she likes football? Would you feel the need to question every bloke the same? FFS!! Men don't have sole exclusive rights to knowledge about football.

Six foot. Six foot one with a boner. 8)

So either I’ve got a massive willy or it’s actually only 3 inches long but grows out of my forehead. :? :?

Okay then, I'll call your bluff!

Explain the offside rule! No hesitation, repetition or deviation!

I new it was a can of worms :banghead: :banghead:

I did say i couldn't think of a way of putting it without sounding like a chauvinist  ...I'm not talking about knowing the offside rule or knowing the players, i'm talking about a far more in depth understanding and insight than that, and i'm sure your aware there are plenty of guys who are into football that don't have it never mind the far fewer women, it's wasn't an unreasonable assumption to make...
If this was a forum about make-up and i had an particularly in depth knowledge of it as some guys do, i think it would be quite natural that you assumed i was a women... don't you think

Never fear ladies......here's the offside rule all nicely explained for ya

You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.

The 'opposing' female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire.

Both of you have forgotten your purses.

It would be totally rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.

The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.

Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.

She prepares to throw her purse to you.

If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes.

At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and, *whilst it is in flight* you could nip around the other shopper,
catch the purse and buy the shoes.

Always remembering that until the purse had *actually been thrown* it would be plain wrong to be forward of the other shopper.

Thank me later girls.... :D

I was gonna say no...and then I went on to read your next 3 contributions!

ds, deep breath in...and relax...that's good.

Now unless you can tell me how many goals Charlie George scored in the 1970/71 season without looking it up in a book, then clearly you're just another girlie girl who likes fluffy kittens and white court shoes!
