When you read how he wouldnt take people on on the outside and kept coming inside it is exactly how Wenger asks him to play for Arsenal!!! and what frustrates everyone so much

Others have written that they are gutted for Theo. Me too.

Forget football for a second: this is a young guy whose hopes were raised by Sven, taken to the 2006 World Cup - and didn't get on the pitch. Now once again his hopes have been raised and dashed to the ground, for what is beginning to look like a "show him who is boss" reaction from Capello (if the report is true). Sympathetic, nurturing management? Vomit.

And for what has Theo been left out? SWP - OK, but Emile Heskey? Two goals - Azerbaijan and Burnley and (according to 5 Live yesterday) 8 shots on target all season!

Theo hasn't had a good season, though he has had a few good assists and goals and with a bit more accuracy from Bendtner those stats might be even better. So for those of you who think this is good for Arsenal, I hope Theo's confidence is not completely destroyed.

It's put me off all things World Cup for now, but if the interest does return - as I think it will - I think I might support Leo Messi and Argentina rather than Lumpard, Cashley, Wayno and the lumbering Emile. :(

That is exactly the problem, Theo is being played in a position that simply is not his position. Theo in the centre or as a fluid attacking wing role where he gets between the full-back and the centre half. This is why he is useful as an impact sub, not as a wingman that you play from the start and expect to whip in numerous pin-point crosses.

Stop trying to turn every england attacking player that isnt a striker into david fucking beckham.

This sounds most likely. Anyone who saw his rugby post-esque crosses at Burnley last December will know exactly how bad his crossing is, even when under no pressure at all.

He was warming up in front of me prior to the West Ham game and the crosses were brutal then too.

I don't think Heskey is going as a rightwinger but as the target man that Rooney, Lampard, Walcott and co played off so well in qualification.

Didn't deserve to go has struggled for England and looked so timid against Japan. It's a friendly and he is too scared to drive at players, he probably isn't going to do it when it matters. Kept his defensive discipline to cover for Glen Johnson which was good to see

Lennon deserved to start as first choice rightwinger, Capello seems to have decided on Joe Cole, so it came down to SWP/Walcott/Johnson. Would have favoured Johnson over Walcott but does surprise me SWP, can't cross, can't dribble and is near his peak, is in the squad over his younger rivals.

Got time on his side but has to be more confident on the pitch. When Rooney runs offside, don't let him slag you off. When you put in a good cross that nobody attacks, show some displeasure. If things aren't going for you, just keep going, force the fullback on the backfoot, keeping looking for gaps to run into.

Chris Waddle is a tosser. Who can remember his brilliant observation of Theo against Croatia, that he 'didn't really do much in the game'

radford says that waddle is spot on over his observations of theo theo walnut. what has the boy blunder done since the croatia game for engerlund?

answer.....fuck all

his lack of ability is obvious to even a blind mand on a galloping horse.

radford further states that when an engerlund player is being taught how to cross a ball then that player has no right to be near an engerlund squad let alone in one.

why people persist in supporting this failed/fake "footballer" is baffling

Because he comes across as a decent lad, and a football player that is down to earth. How many football players can you say that about nowadays? Compare him to the likes of bentley and pennant and you'll see the difference in their attitudes and how some let the fame get to their heads, whilst in walcott's case he's kept his feet on the ground. Don't see him stumbling out of any nightclubs, haven't seen him shagging his team mates' mrs, havent seen him have any run ins with the law.
And if you can't have a bit of sympathy for a young lad who's just missed out on what most people dream about happening to them, then frankly youre a bit of a *word censored*.

Theo Walnut is never going to be good enough because he is totally clueless end of :banghead:

The fact that the club have decided to pay this cretin 65K a week alongside many other clueless players sums up everything that is wrong with present day Arsenal FC :banghead:

From the manager to the board, the ability of most of the playing squad to the way the club treats it's traditional core support, our once great club is totally fucked up :banghead:

No more home games for me, same as last season, as I'm not prepared to pay anything more towards these failed projects & ego's!!!!
