I think Wenger's done well in the transfer market this summer. The squad looks much stronger and more capable.

Wenger hasn't succeed in one area, but that said, I reckon he's identified who he wants and he probably wasn't available. Either January - or more likely - next summer he'll buy a keeper.

Aside from RVP's injury I have a feeling that this year will be a good one for the club.

How do you work that out? We have lost 2 proven defenders in Gallas and Campbell, replaced them with 2 unknowns at this level, one who already looks weak, we have the same shit keepers, we have signed Chamakh who is again unproven at this level, but now Van Persie is fucked again we are short up front, Bendtner and Vela are shit, basically we are weaker than last season. It will be the same old story, getting battered by anyone decent and winning fuck all with the same embarrassing ***** excuses from the twat of a manager that we have

1. Gallas may have been a good player, but it seems most of the senior players didn't want to talk to him, let alone play with him;
2. Campbell won't last a full season, he's a sub at best;

I admit that the goalkeeping position is the most worrying, but so long as we score more than everyone else we'll be okay!!

So what if players didnt want to talk to Gallas, the fact remains he is still a decent player and apart from Vermaelen is better than what we have at the moment, that *word censored* Sheringham and Cole never spoke to each other but they still did the business. I dont think that you can compare ligue 1 to the premiership, the fact remains that at this level both Chamakh and Squillaci are unproven and therefore are a gamble. To me Bendtner is shit, always has been and will never make it at this level, I admire your optimism but yet again we will win fuck all

I agree with what you are saying. Wenger wonders why our only world-class player wants to leave in the summer, when he sees Barce succeeding on every level.

I have no doubt in my mind that Wengers ignorance in not signing ANY top-class players this season will have angered the likes of Fab, and Arshavin.

I don't even think Arshavin wants to play for us anymore, if you watch him when he plays, he just looks completely disinterested in the team.

1. True. But, he wasn't always used as a striker and spent a couple of seasons being used as a sub. He normally scored double figures every season and also, important goals.

2. Monaco. Read the Arsenal website:
