Your above post backs up my argument!

You have quoted MM99 on how our rival's spend has increased their power on the pitch relative to ours.

It was you who then took that thought and talked of leveraged debt being the cause of our rival's debt.

But that was not MM99's argument.
His was simply saying that Arsenal are not doing as well these days because our rivals spend more.

Being in a Forum discussion with you is nonsense, because despite a genesis of an interesting view on the board, you are, whether intentional or not, unable of participating in a reasoned structured argument.
It is a complete waste of my time.

Sorry Iceman but you try to take me and my views to task without - clearly without having read all of them - then tell me how to answer you so that I can't genuinely and then want me to actually consider what you have to say after that?

I hope you're not a therapist. I'd fear for your patients saftey becauise you wouldn't be looking out for it that way.

It's a shame I was looking forward to explaining some things as initially you raised some valid points.

Now if you want me to answer the serious points you made I will be happy to but on no terms whatsoever. it's up to you. I would have preferred whatever your views that we started off on a better note but you chose to post this way. Now if you want me to reply let me know otherwise

Exactly Quartz, my initial post on the matter was to do with finishing positions in the league and the reason behind it. The amount of debt was a secondary point if you will,

MO I was simply making the disticntion that their debt was not solely down to the speding on players whch is a critical distinction. He specifcally referred to their debt not simply to what they were spending in his initial post and when he did refer to it in subsequent posts he still did not see the clear distinction between what he was saying and what I was pointing out.

EDIT - WHile I was typing this MM99 did respond with his views which i shall reply to in a sec

You do realize they were spnding much more than we were before Abramoivch came to Chelsea as well, by the way, don't you? Or that didn't stop us from paying our best players more to stay at Arsenal longer, which would have off-set any advantage they had financially, right?

But just as you are - and not MM99 btw oddly enough at this time - lodging a serious accusation at me for making inaccurate point about him, I was simply pointing out to him that that would be a mis-leading point as it was. How you get anything else of what I actauually saidwould beyond except we both know what this is really about don't we  ?

So many easy shots to take here....naaaaahhhhhhhhh....

Its just rich that he who chanegs his explaantion for everything any time he loses confidence in the previous explanation would say something like this of anyone else.

You bring to mind the religious fanatic determined to believe no matter what that when the world is supposed to end on a specific day and does not you simply change the day it was supposed to end and pretend that other day is was supposed to end was just a miscalculation of God's will. And you keep doing this until the end actually comes so your faith will be proven superior and justified no matter how may times it takes .

I'm sorry but you do. as you contradict yourself over and over as I have documented repeatedly but what the heck

"We won't spend more money because we want to pay for the stadium first...no wait we won't spend more money because of Chelsea speing much more than we can afford....actually we won't spend until the FIFA Fianancial rules go into the effect, yeah that's it....actually its the manager not spending the money he has available...."

That is your case in defence of the Board pretty much in a nutshell really. Actually that is not your case, its the fatal flaw in your case.

You could try and make a valid case for any one of thoise theories. But it is intellectually dishonest to make a case for all those theories as they often contradict one another and discredit each other and thus the case you are making.. Its the equvalent of offering to different alibis to two different officers then when asked which alibi is true answering "yes".

I'm sorry but I think I have discussed this with you enough to say that with some confidence as I have read as much of what you have had to say on this you have of what I have had to say about it.

If I have mis-interpreted your views than I apologize though I should note yuor secondary point clearly created a different impression that simply staing we were spending less than other clubs would have. The impression your secondary point created was a drastically different one than you meant to convey so as a bit of adivice you might wish to just make the point you wish to convey. I have made this sma mistake myself and its not fun because it can lead to mis-understnading and friction that is unneeded.

Anyway I sincerely apologize for misconstruing your original point though as it was written I feel did nothing untoward or deliberate in doing that as some would like to suggest.

And this I thought was some scifi/horror movie torture scene and it took several looks to figure out what it in fact is

And maybe I could be accused of dating myself a bit here but how the hell do you that - I mean generate the speed to spin that way? That would be cool to try!

I don't want any answers as I said in my original post. All I want you to do is to show your handy work to a normal / sane person who you know and take his opinion on what he says about you and consider my points. No point in replying with a bunch of 'Z's because quite frankly I couldn't be bothered, not about the club but your agenda. The club is too big to take any of your rubbish and believe me it is rubbish (do an online poll) seriously. That's why you got bin laden, Usmanov and Hitler are signing up to your laughable petition and it is failed to garner any sort of support. The cabbie is right......10 blokes, you're havin' a laugh.

Come over to the UK, go to some arsenal games, sing a few songs, take life a little less seriously, chill out, have fun and stop pursuing silly agendas.

P.S. I am not a therapist. In my profession I deal with some very sane and switched on people.

Agree with some posters that one mans obsession is becoming very very tedious. Having bored Steve Gleibers forum to tears it now seems we're his latest fad. Please go away, I've tried not reading your posts but you spam this forum with so much shit that it's impossible to avoid.

Thank You.
