BARCA HOME GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can't see any benefit in risking nasri for this in a game we have little chance of progressing. Would rather have him 100% fit for the cc final and league run in, don't want a cesc type stop start end to the season like last year.

I'm very, very worried about Pedro against Eboue. Messi and Alves against Clichy too if Arshavin doesn't track back.

Walcott seems to have them genuinely scared and having Van Persie up front is a million times better than Billy B.

With Puyol out we really have to take our chance. They will go for Abidal at center back at Maxwell at left back. Theo should look forward to that.

I would be surprissed if the full backs go so far forward this time around

Agree.

Better a fit Nasri for Carling Final and second leg than a re-injured Nasri brought back too soon.

Seems like most people have thrown in the towel for this one. A lot can happen in football. At least this time they wont be able to play such a high line against us as we will start Walcott and RVP unlike NB52.

Nasri just tweeted this
Hi tweeps good session today im fully fit and back with the squad looking forward to it
Sounds like he is playing. I for one hope we go all out for this one. Nothing to lose really. Me and Chippy jnr will be leading the "You've only come to see Eboue" chants at the Barca faithful.

BTW remember no booze at CL games!

Come on Arsenal! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
