How is Wenger's job safe? It's fucking baffling. Any other manager of any other team in world football overseeing a run of absolute shit results for months on end would be under enormous pressure but Tunip is fucking lauded by all?????

And although I agree with you and it pisses me off that we're clearly going backwards, I guess there is some truth in the fact that the three teams above us are on a different financial level to any other club. Spending what we do, we do well, but the problem is there is no reason for us to be so miserly!
Maybe Spuddy but if the financial aspect of modern day football is evil why do Arsenal build a larger stadium, charge the highets ticket prices in the world and then rip supporters off left right and centre?
They cannot have it both ways. If Arsene wants to be involved in a purer form of the game it is hard to see how he can justify the 6.5% price rise which will only line the pockets of those rich enough already.
