I think Gibbs would be a handy left winger

Half time, thank god for that ! :barscarf:

i'm impressed, we are playing like the old Arsenal in Europe - possession, defending and the odd chance.

to be 1-0 up away from home to the German champions is a good start, if that was Milan or Madrid we'd be well happy.

I don't care about the perfomance tonight, just the result. This team needs a few results before they get their confidence back IMO.

c'mon you Reds.

Have played very poorly so far but I'll take a lucky 1-0 anyday. Need to tighten up a lot.

Still think a draw will be a good result, but that goal will have done the confidence the world of good, and both Theo and Robin needed it.

Gibbs, Song, Theo having shockers. Gervinho not too much better. Midfield look confused by the system more than anything. If we get a point we've done well.

Tactically clueless Wenger strikes again.

Frimpong on for Benayoun at HT and we'll improve defensively

Wonder if Wenger will have the balls (or even the smarts) to try to lock this game down, make it bitty and shut up shop. Maybe nick one on the break.
He could probably bring pingpong on for bennyoon if they start to overrun us.

I said a month ago that for me he looks like an african theo.......all pace and fcuk all brains

That great through ball aside theo has been anonymous as has little benny( ) whilst song has been total shite

Arteta has been our best player imo and he looks a level above most of our players which tbf he probably is

Gibbs and Song are fucking shockingly bad! This is a really negative performance but somehow we're winning! Without Barrios BVB are nowhere near as deadly. Still think we can win this, we will concede, no doubt about it but we might get another on the break with Theo or Bowling ball

Indeed, but atm I'ld keep it the same, hit them on the break. Just need to seriously tighten up. Maybe swap Theo over to help get back if Gibbs fucks up.

Tough second half coming up
