The battle for the top 4

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I take any time when this club is not challenging for actual trophies in May as "Dark Days", seeing as this hasnt happened at the club for six years I would say that these are very dark days indeed.

Season by season Wenger is getting worse and worse and has no clue how to motivate or with tactics.

We have a good enough squad to be in the top 4 but not with our manager
I agree with us being average for years but not the latter.

Years of constant neglect has finally caught up so I don't think this squad is good enough for top 4.
The 1st team when fit ( ) yes maybe, but the squad is far, far too weak now.
The worrying thing is that we're talking about 4th place....The title is now automatically dismissed which is how sad thing have become.
Okay lets put it another way. If Fergie was manager this season, do you think he woukld get us in the top 4?

Lets think about his tactics and how he knows how to win games and get the MOST out of avaerage players
yes because he would have addressed the weaknesses in the summer. He may know how to get the best out of his players but he has the right players in the 1st place.
So with a world class winning manager, this squad could get in top 4?
indeed it can - and look at where Wenger has got us so far :D well spotted Mikey
