When should the banner be unfurled

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I guess that's one guy who, should he be informed, won't give any air time to the "Censorship at AFC" angle

Cross is a joker. He is up Wenger's hole. This is Communism Chinese-style. It's a battle for hearts and minds with incenssant 'leaks' and propaganda in the media from AW.

He is under the cosh and he knows it so he is using every bit of leverage he can from all his contacts in the media to maintain his cushty £7 mill a year power-driven scam. Those with a brain see through it though.

WENGER OUT
:barscarf:

P.S: Jenkinson not a flop? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Nah he's sooooo much shitter than that! CONFERENCE my friends.

No time like the present.

If there is enough of a fan swell in favour of the banner why wait for another opportunity. Televised home game....bring it on

That article is an AKB buzzword bingo:

- the greatest manager in the club's history CHECK

- Wenger deserves more patience CHECK

- Wenger deserves every last breath of support CHECK

- remember and appreciate what you have got CHECK

and last but not least:

- Be careful what you wish for. CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK

I was there for the early 80's as well and I want Wenger out just as much as Terry Neill had to go.

Yay? Nay?!

Here's a thought...

What if someone had something similar printed on the back of their shirt?

Would the stewards confiscate the shirt off your back?
(Big breasted women please apply! )

Seriously what would they do? :?

That's a good idea about the t-shirts, can't the Gooner get some made up?? :?

I made a point on the original banner thread that although the banner needed making I don’t know why the hell SWL decided to tell the whole world what his plans are. I said that it will be all over twitter facebook etc and now that John Cross article goes to prove that.

So now SWL is stuck between a rock and a hard place. If you don’t do it this weekend after all the hype that’s been generated you’ll be labelled a bottle job, and anything else afterwards will be an anti-climax. If you decide to go ahead with it this weekend (which you’ll have to now as your hands been forced) then assuming you can get it past security, (im pretty sure the hunt for this banner will be top of the stewards briefing this weekend), the banner is probably not going to have the same impact as it would have if you just sprung it on everyone.

Also because of the banners exposure(over) if you do manage to unfurl the banner it will be more a case of “oh, theirs that dickhead with that banner thingy, what a knobâ€

Maybe hold it outside the Media Entrance? Or somewhere else outside the ground?
