true
Although I don't want to have a pop at Theo, Henry had been the top scorer for a World Cup winning side so had already proven his ability on the big stage - all whilst being a year younger than Theo currently is. 8)

I had the misfortune of having to take my son into the Armoury before the QPR game and they actually sell a T-shirt that reads "We don't buy superstars....we make them"

How fucking inaccurate and small time can you get. Tell me the last superstar striker that we 'made'

No excuses for Dear Leader this time. Hes pretty much said hes going to put out a bounce team for our match against Dirty Leeds.

If Ox doesnt get a chance in this game then its time to admit theres something funny going on behind the scenes.

We are playing LEEDS- a mid table Championship team on a bad run of form.

If he doesnt get a start in this game he never will.

Monday night might be the last contribution from the Ox this season for the Aresnal. Get this- he actually wants 1st team football to impress the National coach.

I like the fact that the Ox has such a hard working attitude and has real ambitions even at a young age. I have no idea how he fits into Wengerball where 4th is a trophy and you should be happy to just sit there and print money ala Squillachi.

I would be devastated to see the kid go as hes been one of the bright sparks in a dark season for the club to date.

Agreed. Thought up by a 'Sportsmail Reporter'. That hate rag has no credibility.

I've not got the foggiest why he was subbed off against Leeds. He looked our most dangerous player in the second half. I was sure he was going to take Arshavin off and play Henry, with Walcott and AOC just off him, that would have been a spectacle.

I'm very surprised he was subbed off, especially when he's hardly played as it is. When's his next Arsenal appearence? Villa in a month's time?

I know he's rubbished the rumours on his twitter, but for me the kid is ready to play first team football, albeit not as a regular starter. At the moment he's getting practically nothing at Arsenal.

We're hindering his development IMO and loaning him for the next six months to another Prem side could be good for his development, just as it was when we loaned Wilshere to Bolton.

What Wenger said today.
Arsène Wenger is very happy with the progress of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and has first-team plans for the 18-year-old.

The England Under-21 international has made a big impression since his move from Southampton last summer, scoring on his first two starts at Emirates Stadium in the Carling Cup and the Champions League.

Oxlade-Chamberlain got another run-out in Monday's FA Cup win over Leeds United and Wenger intends to utilise him more as the season unfolds.

"He is very close now and he will be used in the next six months for sure," Wenger told Arsenal Player. "He is working on [his defensive side], his urgency and his committed level as well.

"When you are a young, talented player you have to experience that talent is good, but that commitment at the top level is highly needed too. He is an intelligent boy, he understands that, and I am very happy with him. I am confident that in the next few weeks he will play."

So why hasn't Wenger spoken to Arshavin about commitment?
Useless excuse for a manager! :banghead:
