Its Up 4 Grabs Now wrote:Where the fuck was that intensity in the first half??? If we'd played with even half of that when we were 1-0 up we'd have put the game to bed and left its cum stains all over the sheets by half-time, even despite the total lack of width and the clueless final balls. Absolutely beggars belief that we still let complacency seep in so easily & lull ourselves into a false sense of security. You'd think we haven't had enough chances to learn from making the same fucking mistake for years on end. We've played far worse than that and won but I'm absolutely fucking livid we've dropped points in that way today. How a team in our position and with our recent history has the nerve to get so complacent and arrogant at 1-0 up is a fucking disgrace.
It was surprising, especially considering the experience of the team.

I think the effort they put in is decent - but we've always had this nack of switching off during games, and it's killed us so many times before that it's maddening they we still fall into the trap. :?

Very frustrating day. We are crying out for a top class creative player though; one who know's where the back of the net is too. I know those players aren't easy to find, but if we don't, we'll never close the gap on our rivals. Cesc and Nasri for Benayoun (on loan) and Gervinho was never going to be adequate, and so it's proved. We need to spend that money.

get some new players, you twat Wenger.
it wasnt discraceful you knob, they had an inspired keeped and had the luck of he bounce so many times....trouble is the players played exactly to the tactics....its the tactics that are wrong, 1 striker at home against 10 men against relegation fodder until 85 mins, wenger your 'tactics' are *****
hey asshole, if you think 70% possession with hardly any end product is anything but disgraceful then youre a mug! what game were you watching? because we hardly tested the keeper enough to justify that amount of possession. :awnker:

KERRRRCHHHINNNNGGGGG! So that means we don't get the £35 - £40 mill then....fine. it also means that while we are still regulars in that competition, some players (when wenger can finally undo the clasp on his wallet) will sign for us rather than teams not in the CL.

Nothing wrong with the effort of the team, but my God are we in need of a top class creative player. It was the same against Citeh - and that one player can be the difference between a good side and a great one.

You can't lose that quality in the final third that Nasri and Cesc gave us, replace it with Gervinho and Benayoun, and expect everything to be okay. Wenger must know that though, and I just hope he's bringing someone in this January, or we'll continue to keep plodding forward... and that's assuming RvP stays fit and scoring goals! :?
don't worry mate, according to sammy we're signing goetze! :barscarf: :barscarf:

Orbinho the Arsenal stats man on Twitter just summed it up:

In Arsenal's last 15 home games in the Premier League, we've only managed to score more than one goal four times.

Exactly! How many times could gervinho or rosicky have easily fired a shot on goal but opted instead for more tippy tippy let's walk the ball in the net shit that got us nowhere.

God I hate djourou so fucking much. How is he a professional, let alone an arsenal player? Oh yeah, because he's 6'5 and has Ivorian roots. In wenger's eyes that must mean he has superb quality. Fuck! :banghead:

fatchaz, dont be a closet homo all ya life - against a stubborn team like wolves/fulham you got to draw them out and all that possesion will just make them sit back - if thay do that then you need a long shot specialist whos not afraid to shoot or a set peice specialist and good headers of the ball - either way you may get lucky if you play 2 strikers....or you can rely on a few lucky bounces - both bounces that fell to RVP bounced away from him, just bad luck

To be honest this was coming- when the going gets tough, the players always shat their pants.

Aston Villa in midweek was the warning but it obviously wasnt heeded.

Can't defend Wenger anymore, every fucking time we are looking for a goal and he brings on Arshavin and Chamakh, to see Chamberlin's head drop when Chamakh was called over to come on summed it up for me.

Complete clueless substitutions yet again, if our game changers are Arshavin and Chamakh regardless of form then there is no hope left for even 4th this season.

Complete lack of bottle to take a gift from Chelsea and Liverpool, game was poor, Wenger can blame the ref or credit their keeper but we looked out of ideas.

Van Persie will leave, we will be fucked next year.

dont be so downbeat if you remember we are the most consistant champions league group stage participants, aint done us fuck all, now, if you take inter barca milan real byern man u dortmund, they have all been out of CL and come back stonger. its not these 'i want/deserve to be in the championsleague' players we need anyway there are plenty of players out of the CL that are faster, stonger better than what we have now

Song was ridiculous today, when we had the ball he tried do backheel, flick and trick and just kept losing the ball, afterwards he managed to do enough for two red cards in a row, but got away with it.

Later, mr. Mental Strength comes up with Chamakh and Arshavin to clinch a winner. Pathetic. We deserved this and as long as Wenger is the man in charge we will keep dropping points because of this shit managerial decisions.

youre sounding like a bit of a dickhead now. stop making bullshit excuses for Wenger. you just proved that we dont have the players to give us end product; they succumb to wolves at HOME! unless youre happy with our diminishing status as a club, which wouldnt surprised me considering some of the apologist fans we have.

i couldnt give a shit they parked the bus, ITS FUCKING WOLVES FFS! even RVP, bless him, should have controlled the ball when he beat the offside trap. but what can he do? he's on his own considering the tripe around him. players like Rosicky, Chamakh and Arshavin are inadequate to help RVP in attack.
