Djourou got caught absolutely miles out of position, which meant Mertesacker had to come right over to cover, giving them time and space in the box. Absolute gash defending all round.

Nexum's right about sloppiness.

Too many players, too often, dither on the ball, end up getting closed down and then lose the ball or make shit passes. Song, Ramsey, Kos, Theo, the Fat Russian have all been guilty.

Why, when there's the opportunity to play quickly do we slow everything down?
