Cologne pre season friendly

Totally dominated the game so far, but the same defensive mistakes are still there as Yennaris or Coquelin just passed straight to their attacker and we were extremely lucky the stiker fired inches wide even with three or four defenders around him. Mannone just stands there and watches the shot

Giroud has a couple of decent opportunities well saved.

Really hoping TV5 has his annoying habit of getting too tight to his man far too high up the pitch coached out of him.

ox in the center where he is playing now is a fucking beast. his best position. should play there all year now that we have plenty of wide options.

in fact, our starting midfield 3 all season should be arteta, wilshire (when fit) and Ox... with Rosicky and Song coming in off the bench or in rest days for the others.

Really impressed with Cazorla. He just does not give the ball away.

Podolski 3-0. Fucking brilliant goal. Great link-up play with him and Gibbs.

Oh my God, Cazorla is so good. Trying not to get my hopes up too high here, but he has been very, very good so far.

Podolski has done absolutely nothing - apart from scoring two goals!

Calm down dears. They are a German 2nd division team. If we can't look good against them then God help us.

Exactly. Our players can only be judged when they're playing Man City and Barcelona. Until then, their performances are to be completely ignored.

Almost a Podolski hat-trick then, sliding block from the defender.
