Don't think we'll get Sahin. It's in his & Madrid's interests to go to Liverpool where he'll walk into the side every week and Rodgers will presumably play his unique brand of fantasy football and carry Liverpool to a 6th-placed finish.
I would estimate that will be 2 places above us.

One Tony Adams wrote:Through my blinkered eyes I actually thougt Song was good last year because he made some crucial finals balls for that Dutch player to finish off. However you lot have all reminded me that he also put us under a lot of pressure at times by jogging round the pitch or playing lazy ball in the middle of the park.

If we sell him though we MUST get Sahin or another strong DM in
People with chronic ME (no disrespect intended) have a higher work ethic than Song. When he leaves it will make me feel better after Persie put the boot in irrespective of whether we bring in a replacement.

He's a symbol of everything rotten at the Arsenal.

Alas, I feel Sahin is a non-starter, although I hope to be proved wrong.

Don't think Song will be much of a loss. Without RVP to finish off his "wonder passes" he would have been found out anyway (most have found him out years ago). He will play as a Centre Back at Barca and will probably do quite well if he can up his work rate 10x. More concerning is that I don't see how we can now arrest the annual loss of players. This Summer has sen out a message to the fans and most importantly the remaining squad players. Who is next? Kos and Vermaelen?

Well, when Dong goes there will be no more players under Darren Dein's umbrella (AFAIK) so who knows? Coincidence or something else? :rubchin:

If Song goes then we will be left with one world class player - Theo Walcott

Thank fuck for that.

Too right, he's another lazy fucker in the Denilson mould. Getting closer to the day when we are rid of the useless fuckers that infest our club.

tinternet seem very sure hes offski
but Sahin to Liverpool is also rumoured

Wilshere Arteta
Cazorla

doesnt sound like it has enough muscle. LeCoq and Frimmers are both pretty young.
Can't be happy he's sold unless there's a replacement lined up.
Rennes can afford to hold out for more - they know we're desperate now...
