Southampton match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That was dire- towards the end it looked more like they would score than us. I'm sure they showed the stats that said we had 4 shots on goal all game

Shameful isn't it.

He really is the welsh denilson. And whens Diaby back

Senile old fart in charge of us loves them both.

Main problem was lack of balls to the front.
Think Theo and Giroud got about one decent pass each all game.

Sagna and Gibbs had poor performances.

Sort of tight game where an extra creative substitution is worth a go, as others have suggested, Rosicky might have made the difference?

Not sure who else we have that could have changed things much, we played our best eleven starters.

So many poor performers today. Their keeper looked shite at the start and we put zero pressure on him.

Sagna was a joke from start to finish. Nice to see Theo revert back to the performances we know so well from him.

I agree. We had nothing else. THIS was the best we could do even playing a game less than everyone else.
