That kit is beautiful, and everything an Arsenal away kit should be. Yellow with blue shorts, socks and collar. Will look even better with some trophies being lifted above it.

Absolutely - mind you I thought that it looked more like it is going to be a blue shirt with yellow trim rather than the other way around. If they do go with yellow and blue then it wont take Einstein to work out that they will only be going with those colours to prevent puma from starting their contract with a return of the fans favourite kit

The jacket that Walcott/Gibbs was wearing in the trailer was blue with a yellow trim, and in the past the primary colours of the away jackets are the secondary colours for the actual shirt. Also, you can see the top of the shirt that Ramsey is wearing which looks very similar to the 'leaked' one doing the rounds a month ago with the blue collar, so it''s fairly safe to assume that the kit will be yellow

Also, i'm not sure there is some kind of rule/law that states the away colours may not be the same when the kit supliers change. I could be wrong though.

Re: Puma to make our kits
Obviously there's no law against it but clearly it's more profitable for kit manufacturers to change the kit colours every season - hence why we haven't had the same colour away kit twice in a row since the 90s and haven't had just a basic yellow with blue kit since 2004. Just like United change their away kit colour every year and why Liverpool and Chelsea have played in a variety of colours away from home. If that leaked kit is indeed correct it's hugely unlikely Puma are gonna keep the same colour.

Perhaps, however Puma could make subtle design changes such as removing the collar. Anyway, people will still buy it as it has a different logo, therefore people may feel the 'need' to get Puma's kit.

Possibly but I don't think subtlety is the name of the game when it comes to kit changes - our 'Dennis the Menace' European shirt a few years ago, this year's 'Purple Reign' and having two white kits all in the past 5 years show that!

Re: Puma to make our kits
Can't fucking wait mates, like a complete tool I've got my fistful of money ready for a yellow kit (and maybe a new N98 jacket too). Not even sarcastic.
I do wonder about the sales of these away kits from year to year - I wonder if it's profitable to be outlandish and different all the time? I guess we have to assume so since Nike and the rest do it all the time (Chelsea's away kit also seems to color-change dramatically, annually).
You know, and I might take some flak for saying this, but our burgundy/white kit from '08 (I think? The year we beat Milan in the CL) is one of my favorite modern Arsenal kits of either home or away style. With the hooped socks, I thought it was really class. And it wasn't really "white", per se.

Yeah, I loved that White and Burgundy kit to bits, however being 14 at the time of purchase, it doesn't fit me anymoreBarriecuda wrote:Can't fucking wait mates, like a complete tool I've got my fistful of money ready for a yellow kit (and maybe a new N98 jacket too). Not even sarcastic.![]()

I'm also a fan of the N98 jackets, I even bought this burgundy/maroon and yellow one a few seasons ago.

I know a lot of people hate it, but I'm an absolute sucker for anything with just the cannon on it. Would love to see it on a kit at some point
