Marseille away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

great result.

Wally scores when he has no time to think. still.

quality finish from Ramsey.

a nice little run we're putting together. the squads bare bones will tell eventually. but we won a cup tie away from home, no serious injuries and no need to put kids on to chase the game.

doesn't seem like Jack had a good game again.

Not surprised at the Napoli result at all - those who said they wouldn't be that strong were kidding themselves. I would be well happy with a draw in Napoli and Dortmund. If we can win both our home games, we are through to the knocked out rounds...

have to laugh at the Chavs. at home too...

Why the fuck did Flamini get subbed off for Miyaichi? :? Baffling decision and after it happened we conceded the penalty.

Not the first time he's made one of those bewildering substitutions that leave you scratching your head.

I doubt many people are surprised by the result. Dortmund had 10 men for most of the game.

Napoli are a decent side playing at home - throw in an early red card to the opposition, and a win is the likely outcome whoever you're up against.

It was to give the Japanese audience a look at one of their boys in an Arsenal shirt. it was purely a money decision.

You don't bring off your only defensive shield for a lightweight winger when you're trying to close out a match - fresh legs or not. He could have brought off any of Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere or Giroud instead.

Baffling timing, he was trying to bring on Vermaelen straight after but never actually got time to before the ref blew for FT.

Fucking good decision by the Marseille penalty taker to take an age over his kick too
