As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wouldn't say Flamini was awesome. I was watching him particularly carefully today and his decision-making in terms of when to press and when to sit is far better than anyone else would do in our squad in that role - but he was slack in possession on a number of occasions and got skinned once or twice when he did make the odd bad decision to chase the ball.
bit harsh
I don't think so mate - not slamming him or anything but it's just the nature of his role that he's going to get judged by the number of mistakes he makes rather than the number of moments of brilliance like an attacker. His role is a very important one to the team but it's not really the most difficult.
you could say mertesacker was shit for letting them score in that case, ozil was shit he did fark all, wilshere was crap again, picking the bones out of someones performance you will always find negatives, the team won,we did enough and flamster contributed massively, wait till hes injured

In Flamster's defence, he wasn't the only one but I thought he did well enough and I think he will get better in that role. Having watched a bit of him at Milan, the style of play and his job was different, thought he played more like Rambo in Serie A and now he's back to working across the back like Gattuso.
Anyway let's milk a victory for at least a day then we can start to sh*t ourselves about what Hamsik and Higuain will do on Tuesday. You know Higuain's nailed on to score
Its late here but I'm loving watching the little rat Jamie rednap having to give us some praise .
You can see he hates it from his body language !
Swansea aren't bad and we bossed it 2nd half b4 doing the usual and turning off and allowing them back in the game.
Closed it out Job done !
No need to get cocky but another good win .
Flamini - first name on the sheet for me.
We've been crying out for decent DM for years. Now we have one. I know Arteta can do a job but hes not a typical hard tackling DM like we have been missing.
Its no coincidence that Rambo is playing so well now that Flamini is in there giving Rambo a lot more freedom to creare and score.

Redknapp Jnr is literally a top, top twat, as he might phrase it. Mangles the English language so appallingly he should be boiled in oil.
I thought we were second best in the first half, one-paced and no width. Better in the second half and two nicely worked tippy tappy goals, but still far from convincing.
Is AW expecting Giraud to play every minute of every game? He looks out on his feet for the last quarter of every game.

1st half was awful without them testing the goal keeper to any great extent. The goals were anything but tippy tappy. In what way was Gnabry's goal tippy tappy ?
Thought the second goal was a good team goal involving all the attacking players but it was from our defensive 3rd to their penalty area in a few one touch passes, not what I would call tippy tappy.
As much as I'm not getting carried away, with our injuries and us still only playing at about a 3rd of our best, I'd take any victory we can get. Makes a change for them to pleasantly surprise us, instead of the usual being one big disappointment......then again there's still time for that
