I know he's been injured but now he's fit he has to play as he has that goalscoring instinct that Giroud simply doesn't, for all his hard work.

Fuck me have we missed Podolski. I've always thought he's gotten a lot more stick than he deserves from fans all the way along the Wenger spectrum.

Not only is he a great finisher, as soon as he came on he was desperate to get on the ball and he could smell blood. No fannying around, no tippy tappy.

And see how he's profited from playing as a wide striker - where he can cut/drift infield. If we go back to playing him from the start of games as a winger expected to get chalk on his boots then don't expect to see anything like the best of him.
