Swansea Away Match

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

After half an hour I was actually starting to doze off on the sofa. What a fucking borefest

I'm only paying for sky and I feel that I am being robbed blind, so god knows how those Gooners that have spent a fortune on travel and match tickets feel  Forget about the winning or losing, they surely are entitled to see a bit more energy and passion in the performance

It must be because "we gave absolutely everything" against mighty Anderlecht on Tuesday

Me too - had to play a cup game this morning for our local club and the game went to extra time which isn't good for a 45 year old I can tell you  The one thing I needed today was for this game to be a thriller cos otherwise fatigue and boredom might result in a mid afternoon nap

WTF! I would imagine that self respect alone would make them turn to this game after embarrassing match in midweek. But no, of course not.

I have a feeling that the club is rotting inside out. There has to be something fundamentally wrong inside the club because players doesn't show any improvements in mentality after they've been embarrassed.

We're not even nearly good enough to turn up for 10, 15 minutes a game and expect to win regularly doing that.

40 minutes of utter crap, including a penalty that would have been given against us at least 9 times out of 10. We really need a change of approach but no chance will one be forthcoming.

"There's a lack of pace in Arsenal's game that you don't normally associate with them"

Obviously Carragher hasn't been to see us this season....

THought exactly the same. Although I did laugh when he said it should have definitely been a penalty - it should have but could you imagine if he'd had a penalty given against him for that???

How many games has Jamie Carragher ever managed? I'll tell ya ZERO. His opinion is meaningless.

We need a dominant midfield in games like this one and so far we've had nothing like it. Our strikers have had no service which has rendered them useless. Our defence has been average at best against mild opposition.

C'mon Arsenal, look lively ffs!!

He forgot to mention the lack of ambition, the lack of skill, composure and know-how.
