SOUTHAMPTON HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He has been so poor for 12 months. So naturally he is playing in his preferred position, even over our £42m signing.

Whereas when he was shit hot in 2012/13 in a team with no creativity, Wenger shunted him out onto the left wing for the entire second half of the season to accommodate perma-crock Rosicky.

That man again, well played by Ramsey.

Out of jail again. Sanchez is wasted with us.

predictable as clockwork - all out attack scraped a home win over 10 man southampton minus their best two DM's.

Awful performance, but Sanchez is quality, what a great player. Wenger must have endless amounts of luck, but a win is a win. BTW Mariner is a shit ref, misses a clear handball in the build up to the goal, and we Should have had a penalty after that when Sanchez was fouled.

so could only win vs 10 men.

giroud made a difference once he was on. and podolski needs to play more.

He did make the difference, although had it been him starting and Welbeck coming on I think it would have been the other way round.

Just makes an obvious improvement having another constant presence up top. How the fuck does he not see that?

i have no idea - he went 442 in both the cup final and semi and it worked both times. why we can clearly see so much and he doesn't is amazing.
