Great confidence booster, hard to really say what we are about as they really were so poor, but looks encouraging for next weekend.

Yup Im about 104% against now :barscarf:

Just cant see Jack or Welbz getting a start at all, both 70 min subs at this rate.

Must say I am liking Girouds link up play at the moment as well, Bring on the Scum. Lucky those who have tickets

Chuba looked good when he came on, good runs + good positioning.

Looks more of a striker than that French kid. I hope he gets more time.

I was hoping for a 6-0 win coupled with a 1 nil win for Swansea. Now I hope Swansea win 2 nil

Peace

Yep, he was keen, good movement, always looking for the through ball, won the pen and was a little unlucky not to notch himself - he will be a great impact sub with 20 / 15 to go, a real livewire.

Just back from game - really good performance in second half. Thought Bellerin & Coquelin were great. Only disappointment was atmosphere - one of worst I can remember

Nothing bad you can say about this one. Entire team played great. Coq was outstanding again. Cazorla beautiful in the middle again. Bellerin is the RB of our future and I'm pleased with that. Ospina: finally a keeper we can feel assured in I think. Giroud has been playing well recently so fair play to him. And great returns for Ozil and Walcott.

Now give me something even close to this in the NLD and I'll buy in to this resurgence.

just back as well and agree on the atmosphere - sedated. But great to see Ozil play like he can. That first through ball to Giroud was sublime. And he and Santi showed no problem in playing in the same side. (please Wenger don't leave one them out for Jack. Jack and Welbeck on the bench please). To have Santi, Ozil and Rosicky on the same pitch all at once was such a pleasure. I know Villa are shit but I'm so happy to have gone to a 5-0.

I like Ospina and Bellerin and Per looks a lot more solid with Coquelin in front of him. Even saw him jump quite high to head clear a few times :D Can't give that much possession to the Scum though.

We could play better than we played today vs the Tiny Tots and still lose

Wont gauge anything off this performance...

Villa was shit

Peace

atmosphere seemed dreadful on TV anyway... fair few empty seats I thought..

On the game, thought it should have been done and dusted by 30 minutes, Theo moving to the left in the first half didn't work..in a straight race he will beat most but if he has to slow down and cut onto his right foot it takes from his pace. Having said that he scored a great goal coming infield , but without the ball. Bellerin was outstanding , central defence relatively untroubled. Ospina inspires more confidence in me than Szczesney. He is calm , he doesn't take chances , he is excellent on corners and made two good saves today. Bigger tests do await. Coquelin played well , be interesting to see how he preforms next week. Akpomb looks lively and confident, could maybe should have had a few today. Ozil is subtly brilliant, what a touch for the first goal.
Overall delighted with the day but unless Ramsey was dead on his feet Flamini had to be the most pointless substitution ever . I'm not sure Diaby will walk straight into that midfield when he is fit. :D
