Boro FA cup

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

According to BT a minute ago they rested players for today

I suspected that they would (I said so on the first page of this thread) which is why I reckon that we will have an easy enough win today - we'll take a two goal lead, they will pull a goal back midway through the second half but we'll put the game to bed with a 3rd goal in the last 10 minutes 8)

I meant they've been resting players in previous matches to play today...I'd be surprised if that was true though.

Only slightly better than Chambers' throw ins

(which the lino didn't give till after the ref blew up)

Possession all us, but no real goal threats, passing one to many instead of taking the shot as always.

Financial reasons - sky have built up a sizeable customer base by offering channels for everyone and can easier shell out the big wad of cash the rights for footie costs, but bt don't have the same customer base or financial clout so they cut back elsewhere

Gabriel hasn't had a lot to do so far but he doesn't seem particularly phased or to be struggling with the language barrier as AW seemed to think he would

Giroud...................!!!!
