HULL AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolutely, even though we didn't bang in 5 or 6 goals which has I was hoping might happen in the second half. It was a pleasure to watch all the same which is a feeling I haven't had in along time.

We'll done Arsenal.

I had an outer smile. some of the flicks, touches and passes were sublime. coq also done well, a real midfield battler unlike flamini. anyway UTA :barscarf:
Yeah just that the inner smile is recognition that We Are The Arsenal 8) and anyone watching at times tonight saw a different class :barscarf:

Probably Ozil's best game for us.

He looked strong, was integral to the team's play, was influential all over the pitch and throughout the 90 minutes and played some passes.

On a sour note, Giroud was anonymous.

Wilshere played well...Giroud was non-existent....he was the only player who was not present. Everyone else did well

Bellerin has much to learn but is improving game by game...Monreal so much better than Gibbs.

Ozil = MOTM.

really pleased with how we played and the win. Giroud showing Thierry Henry that the latter is right about the kind of striker it takes to win the PL. Hopefully the penny dropped with Wenger, who looks as though he economised yet again - on a decent haircut.

We looked excellent for long periods and haven't cut through a team like we did tonight for about 10 years. If he bothers with the transfer market this summer, we could win the league this time next year it that's if he bothers with the transfer window.

Gary is correct about Jack (fears style of play will lead to inevitable injuries)

Jack dribbles..., someone needs to have a word. Look at Iniesta, and others, they rarely leave their ankle ready for someones studs to crash into. He needs to hurdle challenges, hell dive sometimes. He is so insistent to be the all action hero it's getting rather reckless.

Comfortable and at times brilliant win. Class all around the pitch with the perhaps exception of Giroud. Bellerin a bit lax at time but you have to admire his ability and attitude. Monreal again played well, Jack was amazingly sharp when he came on but he is risking injury with his style. Overall a good night and a good atmosphere from the traveling Gooners.
