LEICESTER AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Poor keeping from Cech and Drinkwater should have been booked for diving.

Big mistake... but then you haven't been in football for 30 years.

Anyway Wenger is too obdurate to make those kind of changes. He will wait until 70th minute then bring Giroud & Ozil on. Safe & steady.

That half was fucking bollox. The tv companies should be paying us £10m a game to watch this type of shit.

Ditto.
For me, Elneny is the better player.

Thoroughly underwhelmed with that. Leicester are essentially a mid table side this year but with our 'forward' line, we just aren't a threat. I can see a single goal settling this, better hope we get a stroke of luck, might take Donkey G coming off the bench to get it because Walcott couldn't score if he played all month! In fact you have to touch the ball to score....has the fraud done that? :?

He is definitely the more assured and safe player :barscarf:

You think sticking someone like Griezmann up top would make one bit of difference to this shower? We are shit due to coaching, that's it and that's all it will ever be while Wenger is here.

If it were me, I'd put Jack on in a deeper water-carrier role. I think that he played his best football in a deeper role, but I suspect that Wenger will be subbing Santi for him at some point.

Agree with this. The tikka-takka football is predictable and very boring now. Except that they are trying some variation with Monreal attempting some crosses in. Too bad they are to midgets in the box.

I am very interested to see how Koeman gets on at Everton. I would have liked to see him here, but some people didn't think that he was good enough.

What an awful 1st half. I'm no fan of Giroud, but it's clear we need a focal point to our attack. Having the ball and passing it sideways is pointless. If Ozil and Giroud aren't fit, then they shouldn't be in the squad. As this game goes on, I'm getting bored to death.

One of the commentators said - 'Let's see how the players respond to what the respective managers said at half time!'

Like our manager gives our players any instruction
