That should be enough for him to sign his new contract. Putting a powerful Southampton side to the sword after being a goal down. Incredible mental strength.

We were fucking lucky there. We needed that penalty to win it.

It seem that TOF's winter coat appears earlier and earlier each season. Another harbinger of doom. He even put a cover over his legs at the start (like our pampered pussies do on the bench in winter) - Another sign he needs to retire. Still, he did his standard complaining to the officials soon enough, rather than tell the players to stop fucking about and get the ball up the pitch.

First half hour was slow, sideways shite as usual. The co-commentator on NBC kept pointing out how slow we play. Nice to see that somewhere in the world they don't perpetuate the myth that we 'play great football' in the Cashburton-era.

It was comical goal to concede from a nothing free kick. I wonder how long we're going to leave this goalkeeper situation  TOF doesn't have great form on replacing keepers. We finally started to play a little bit after Koscielny's superb equalizer. It seems Perez couldn't get into the game. Too isolated, as our strikers always are.

It was surprising that Southampton made a half-time substitution. I thought that wasn't allowed  I was very surprised to see TOF start to make his standard substitutions on 60 minutes  I would think giving them ten extra minutes to get into the game would make sense. Still, it was all tedious. The ear-cupper missing his chances as standard. The penalty saved us.

Anyway, fuck all this 'winning titles' shit. It's all about Matchday One on Tuesday in the Be All and End All 8)

bit crap first half, much better second overall did just enough to nick it

No where near good enough to win the league, top 4 no problem though

So same old same old, Nothing much has changed

Mustafi looks decent though, not sure about Perez, would like to see Granit get a run of games,

at this stage its not the players, it the bloke in charge, I think the players know that too though

Unbelievable luck for le fraud today, but that luck won't see him through a season. Having watched both manc clubs earlier there's a massive gulf between us and them, 80% of that gulf is managerial!!

I don't know about all of you, I am normally - Or used to be elated when we won...but with this shyte manager in charge I just know it's going to be same old , same old - Surely the players know it too.

We have a good squad, we have a shyte manager - we shall never win the prem till the shyte manager is GONE!

How was Perez today? A fish out of water or a winger played in the middle out of position?

Champions League determining line up Granit and Alexis benched after international exertions. Just pleased we took the points. Top 7 shaping up to pre season expectations. 4 way battle for 4th. Us, spuds, scousers, Bluenoses.

Southampton didn't allow us to play our game which almost always means we will struggle in the final third, so Perez didn't get any decent service. Especially with dumb and dumber on the wings. Had a few good touches and that was it.

Pass map shows it. Balls get to the brainless twins and then do nothing with it.

Quite nicely tanked up at a wedding reception and missed the whole thing - that's 2 from 2 in my "I'm not watching" run :barscarf:

Now I've had a few but did I read that Pete the Plank got beaten from distance again......there's a thing. He's absolutely shite !

I think it probably was a penalty, although most refs wouldn't have given it.

Cech left a ridiculous amount of the goal gaping and in reality it was a soft clip from Tadic nowhere near the corner. He is going from bad to worse.

Not very promising.

Also embarrassing that we are starting both Walcottt and Oxlade-Chamberlain this season after both have been completely dire for years.
