THE NORMAN WISDOM MEMORIAL FILM THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

The Dark Knight was much better imo (4.5/5).

The Dark Knight Rises 4/5.

Matter of taste.

Christopher Nolan is one of the finest directors these days imo.
And his screenplays are outstanding. Every Nolan film is recommendable, especially Inception and Memento (if you don´t like that Batman stuff)!
He´s a mastermind!

Watched "Bulla - My Big Fat Gypsy Gangster" the other night. Fucking hilarious. The scenes of brazilianGOONER and FwankSav locked up in cages with all the other feral dwarves had me pissing myself. And that old bird that is Gary Oldman's sister? She stole the show...

"That's fucking it!" (smashes bottle on bar counter) "I'm 'aving his fucking face off!!! I'll fucking kill all a ya fuckers!"

:coffeespit:    8)

Agreed. Alongside Aronofsky, the Coen brothers and Tarantino. My favourite 4 directors. 8)

edit: hmm... and Paul Thomas Anderson. Oh, and Scorsese.

That's 6 now, and counting... :?
